The black tires gracefully carved an arc on the ground as several cars stopped in the empty villa district. A dozen well-dressed men and women stepped out of the vehicles.
Opposite the villa stood rows of residential buildings, not a single one of their rectangular windows lit. The place looked like a Ghost City.
"Relax, stop looking around. It's completely private here." The blonde man named Charles leaned in, sniffing at Anna's neck.
Anna didn't recoil. She turned her head and began counting on her fingers. "Thirteen people. That's a few too many."
A portly man with a jade thumb ring chuckled as he ambled over. "The more, the merrier. It's more fun when we're all getting high together."
Looking at the people before her, Anna reached up and pulled the mask from her face. Instantly, every man's eyes locked onto her, their greed undisguised. "Wow, King! Where did you find such a goddess?!"
