Anna swiftly sliced open the parcel on the table with her Short Blade. After pulling out some white foam, she revealed a black, silenced pistol.
Seeing the weighty killing tool, Li Long's face paled. "Boss, you... where did you buy this? This thing is big trouble. If the cops find it, that's an automatic three years!"
Anna didn't bother to explain. She turned to Li Long and asked, "Did you find the people I asked for?"
Upon hearing this, Li Long's face fell. "Eight people? From out of town, and they have to be societal outcasts... That's too hard to find! What are you planning to do? How about we just find some migrant workers instead?"
Anna sized him up for a moment before speaking. "We don't need eight. Seven will be enough. You'll be one of them."
Hearing his boss's words, Li Long couldn't help but shudder. What the hell does she mean by that? Why does that sound so goddamn creepy?
