In the pitch-black Abyss-Sea, Charles silently gazed at the V12 containment site before him; he had returned.
From the outside, it was an oval, earth-colored building divided into many layers by the former Foundation. One of these layers, if crossed, led to another Plane—the one where Lily existed.
As Charles slowly lifted his hands, the island beneath him instantly transformed into a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood. Countless tentacles formed from limbs and organs stretched out from beneath the island, winding toward V12.
The tentacles multiplied, gradually covering the entirety of V12. They then began crawling outward along the ground, spreading in all directions.
"Dad, what are you doing?" Shanshan asked in confusion from the side.
"This thing is useful to me. Since it's useful, of course I can't just leave it on an island. I should take it with me."
