Although nothing was visible for now, his many years at sea told him that something was definitely about to happen. It was the intuition of a battle-hardened old captain.
Since the Explorer Association no longer provided mission rewards or issued exploration assignments, all explorers on the Abyss-Sea had long since switched professions. Nowadays, the Abyss-Sea was full of opportunities; you could make money doing anything. Why risk your life at sea?
It was probably only old diehards like Kapp who were still sticking to their old trade.
