After a long and arduous process of dragging his aching and messed up body he finally made right in front of the dresser the crystal was laid upon.
He tried to push himself up slowly to reach the top but his whole body kept trembling and he fell before he fully stood up.
Grey tried again to stand again only this time he moved to out pace the pain.
After gritting his teeth he quickly stood on his hind legs ready to grab the crystal but fell on his back due to all the pain hitting him once nearly knocking him out.
Grey laid there on the ground twitching and crying at the answer to his problems that seemed so close yet so far away.
Grey just stared at the floor as he could feel every movement and breath on the battlefield.
As he stared at the floor with a dead look in his eyes the sun was setting.
Not a lot but enough to make the room he was him darker.
As grey stared at the shadow around him a memory of Jade appeared in his eyes.
He widened if eyes as if full of vigor before crying out with cracking voice. "JADe I neeD YOu To saVe Meuh… plz?"
He stared around him as the place grew darker and darker.
The shadow below him started to ripple like calm pond being disturbed by a pebble.
As a slender figure rose up from behind him with a pair of beautiful greens peering at him through all the darkness.
"THe wit … cry… stal… plz?" Grey managed to slowly blurt out despite his immense pain.
Jade stared at before quickly look around the room for some sort of crystal that might help.
After a minute panicked looking so found behind where so arose from earlier.
Jade quickly brought to grey using her tail before gently placing it in his left paw.
Feeling the crystal summoned his powers and randomly injected it hope that worked.
Not to long after they heard a echoing voice coming from the crystal. "Oh crap he activated it! Hey Rex go get Maria."
"Damm that bee why do I have to do it Tony? Why not golo?"
"Because your the fastest when greys not here here take this crystal and find her I'll summon you guys when your ready."
"Let's go everyone! As the leader I Golo announce that this will be the first legend of The Six claws~"
"What the hell are on about?" You could feel the confusion in Tony's voice even through the crystal.
"Well as the leader I thought we needed a name and we-"
"Ahem" a really annoyed Jade interrupted their pointless debate "hurry up and get here! grey is seriously injured and needs a healer right now!"
The Crystal went silent for a few seconds before "who's that. Hey Tony you know grey best does grey have a Mate?"
"Don't know it never came up but she sounds pretty so I don't blame him despite him being the youngest."
"Wait since Maria is a bee wouldn't she be the youngest?"
"Well yes but technically the mental a-"
"SHUT UP AND HELP HIM!" Jade screamed into the crystal sounding desperate.
"Oh right let's go you two."
A moment later the crystal glowed white blinding the room as a golden toad and a muscular goblin appeared.
"WOW i didn't know grey was into predators like that… good on him we don't judge do we cocoa?"
Jade stared at him whimsically as the goblin petted a small bone faced bear on his shoulder surrounded by a black mist like fur.
"Can any of you idiots even heal?"
Tony stepped forward "I can just give me a second?" He quickly touch greys stomach and closed his eyes.
"What the heck happened to him? Everything's damaged almost like he broke everything repeatedly but his body survived somehow?"
Tony gave Jade a odd side eye like a non verbal accusation as he sent his golden lightning into grey body visibly relaxing grey.
Jade looked insulted at the silent accusation "Don't look at me like that you Toad! He just summoned here barley able to move asking for some stupid crystal? Also how is a toad a goblin and a tiny bear gonna help anyone?"
Golo approached Jade confidently with a stretched out hand.
Jade awkwardly extended her tail and shook his hands.
"Hi I'm golo I'm the leader of the Six Claws our new team for… something? Oh and this is cocoa don't be fooled by her size she is saving energy in this form but she usually really big. And that is Tony our… hmm brains of these options? Hey Tony how smart are you."
"Just shut up, also who made you leader?" Tony said as he healed greys very broken body.
Before golo could reply back a feminine voice came from the crystal "hey this is Rex can you hear me I find Maria and we're ready… hello? Testing testing one two bok."
Tony only let out a tired sigh as he point grabbed the crystal from greys paws and summon the two ladies.
They quickly appeared in another bright flash and only gave Jade a questioning look?
Maria spoke up first "ok so what the situation it better be importent because I was shopping."
Rex quickly jabbed her for being rude "calm down can't you see greys injured?"
She looked down at him before releasing a emotionless "oh"
"Ok I mended your main injuries but you'll still be sore for a few days."
Tony said as grey slowly got up "you guys came? i didn't think you guys would come we only fought together once after all."
Golo was the one who approached with a warm smile. "Yes we agreed to help each other get stronger to fight that Lion in the future but we each want something from each other and we aren't help for something stupid like friendship we want parts of the sanctuary your building in the misty hills."
"You see a safe area guarded by a demigod is very rare and essential to grow stronger quietly. But that's not all me and cocoa here want you to help with our revenge. Maria need a garden full of rare plants, Tony wants to learn alchemy and Rex? Well she just wants to fight?"
Grey looked at them all one by one they all had different looks pride or indifference but none of them had any malice. "Fine you help me I help you. Also Maria after this is over I'm going to raid the central burrow for selling us out you could come to steal as many plant as you want there, I'm sure those stuck up nobles have a lot of nice things hidden away."
Maria said nothing but just nodded as grey focused on his ears again. "Hmm there seems to be thirty two foxes left but only three- no four powerful ones and… TCH a few attacking some children underground."
Golo thought for a moment considering his options "ok we'll do it like this the snake will go with grey to save the kids and we will deal with the foxes but first grey tell us their estimated powers and tier."
Grey quickly agreed "the strongest is a tier three fox of the ice element but he's almost a tier four, a powerful tier three flame one and a another tier three one with illusions. The ice one is outside the gate, flames is on the opposite wall and the illusion one is fighting in the center."
Golo smiled at greys recon skills. It was simply to great at tracking foes and he was glad grey was on his side.
"But that's only three?" Rex questioned.
Grey smile "there is a red fox with a luck rune around mid tier three maybe but she is on my side. Unfortunately she won't make a move unless she is certain of victory for us."
Golo formed stone dagger from the ground as he came up with a battle plan. "Ok cocoa will deal with the ice boss, Maria and Rex will deal with the illusion fox while me and Tony deal with the flame one grey save the children and help the one that needs it the most first."
Everyone agreed and Jade silently hopped into greys shadow. "Thanks everyone" grey said sincerely before vibrating his foot and kick the wall.
One second grey was there the next he was gone and there was a huge hole in the wall.
"Alright Let's claw out." golo said jumping out the before anyone can call out his lame joke.
Grey quickly ran towards the tunnels and followed them down at a speed that put horses to shame.
He saw burnt and broken buildings and corpses everywhere.
When he finally made it to the tunnel where the kids where he saw a hyena in the corner passed with a broken bone armor around her
While his brother was kicking really fast covered in a Liquid Metal armor protecting everyone else but the foxes kept swatting him away like a used toy that kept coming back.
Grey ran along the wall and dropped kicked the neck of the fox that last hit his brother screaming "NO ONE BULLIES MY SIBLINGS EXCEPT ME!"
