Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: The Final Preparations

Under the cover of a moonless night, Alex and his guardians assembled in the shadow of an overgrown courtyard overlooking the sprawling Santoro estate in Rome. The air was thick with tension, an electric hum of adrenaline pulsing through every man in the unit.

Standing at the center of the formation, Alex checked his gloves, his posture radiating the calm, absolute authority of the 10th Generation Boss. Beside him stood Hayato, Angelo, Marco, Giovanni, Hiroto, and Tatsuya, their faces etched with quiet, unyielding focus. Every hour of relentless training, every skirmish on the streets of Tokyo, and every lesson passed down by their mentors had led to this single night.

In the shadows behind them, Vincenzo Marino stood leaning against a stone pillar, his sharp gaze scanning their gear one last time. He knew the gravity of breaching an ancient family's stronghold, but looking at the firm stances of the young men before him, he saw no hesitation—only a formidable force ready to execute their mandate.

Alex stepped forward, gathering his guardians into a tight circle. "Tonight, the Santoro family learns that the Luciano line doesn't bow," he said, his voice low, steady, and carrying immense weight. "We move as one, execute the plan to the letter, and protect each other out there. The Santoros think they own these grounds, but we are here to show them the true power of our unity."

Hayato unholstered his pistols with a soft click, his eyes sharp. "We've trained for this exact moment, Alex. Time to make them regret stepping over the line."

Angelo lightly rested his hand on his katana's hilt, the metal gleaming under his coat. "Their perimeter won't know what hit them. The moment the fog rolls in, we take the inner gates."

Beside him, Marco let out a low breath as a subtle, violet Cloud aura flickered across his knuckles. "I'll take the lead vanguard. Anything that tries to break our line stops at me."

Giovanni tossed his coin into the air, a sly, calculated smirk playing on his lips as an indigo mist began to swirl softly around his boots. "Their guards will be chasing phantoms in the corridors before they even realize the front doors are down."

Young Hiroto checked his Lightning Blaster, sparks of golden static jumping between his fingers with a sharp crackle. "Speed and precision. I'm ready, Boss."

A brief, profound silence settled over the group as every guardian offered a silent nod of agreement. The time for briefings and strategy was over; the crucible lay just beyond the iron gates.

"Gather your resolve," Alex commanded, his voice ringing with absolute conviction. "Tonight, we dismantle their operation, uphold our legacy, and bring honor back to the family. Move out."

Without another word, the guardians moved with silent, synchronized discipline. Checking their sidearms, adjusting their coats, and locking their sights onto the compound ahead, they stepped out from the shadows.

Beyond the courtyard wall, the perimeter alarms began to sound, but the 10th Generation Luciano family didn't flinch. Bound by blood, honor, and an unbreakable code, they surged forward into the night to claim their destiny.
