Rose and the others looked at Dorothy with a worried look after I said this, but it seemed like she was much more stable than we expected.
There wasn't even a single fluctuation that was on Dorothy's face when she heard this.
It was as if she had received the most normal piece of news ever.
But then again, this was to be expected since it wasn't as if we would leave those people alone.
If they came for our daughter, it was only natural that we would take care of them.
Since she didn't need any comforting, I continued by saying, "As for the others, I've managed to convince them that Dorothy's power still has value. So for now, they're willing to accept leaving her in my care."
After saying this, I turned to Dorothy with an apologetic look.
After all, the way that I had said this was almost as if Dorothy was nothing more than a tool.
"I don't mind." She said with a genuine smile on her face.
