After Batta and Kamakura left after being disappointed upon seeing how soft Kaijira was, Kaijira had approached the remaining six Beast Knights and stared down at them.
Ku-kun: U-Um...
Dagon: H-Hi...
The six Beast Knights were nervous since they don't know what was going on in Kaijira's mind or what he was about to do.
Kaijira: Groan~
Takoyaki: Eh?
Ryugon: Doesn't this young one look... Happy?
The look Kaijira was giving was the same cheerful look he had with the kids, he was happy to see them.
Kaigon: Young Kaiju where did you come from?!
Kaigon being a Kaiju himself wanted to know more about this strange Kaiju, however his questions went unanswered.
Tilt~
Ku-kun: Hey Kaigon-san, you do know he is unable to understand Japanese right?
Kaigon: Apologies. I just really want to know if he really is one of my ki—
Kaijira: Groan~ groan~

Kaijira interrupted Kaigon by letting out soft groaning as well as moving his head to the side.
Kaigon: What?
Hegon: He issss~ trying to communicate.
Dagon: But he can't understand us.
Hegon: Jusssst because he doesn't understand usss~ he can't try to attempt communication.
All of them knows Hegon was right, but the problem was understanding what Kaijira was trying to convey to them.
Kaijira: ...
Kaijira stopped his head movements and began using a different approach.

He began swinging his tail on the water and upon seeing this, the Beast Knights were able to put two and two together and understood what Kaijira was trying to do.
Takoyaki: So he wants us—
Ku-kun: To go in the water?
Ryugon: This young one wants us to join him and the children.
Kaigon: Is that what you want?
Tilt~
Kaigon: Sigh~ Seriously this would be a lot easier if this young one could speak or at the very least understand us.
Ku-kun: Well... There's one way to find out.

Ku-kun was the first to dive into the water.
Kaijira: Groan~!
Kaijira them let out a loud yet joyful groan once Ku-kun entered the water.
Dagon: He does seem to be enjoying it, what a strange creature.
Takoyaki: It's been a while since I've last been in a body of water... I'll join in too.
Dagon: Hold on sis!
Takoyaki and Dagon then followed.
Ryugon: We need to relax ourselves.
Hegon: I agreee~
Kaigon: We need to.
Kaigon, Ryugon and Hegon were last to come in.
Kaijira: Groan~!

Kaijira swung his tail on the water with a very pleased expression.

Child 1: Hey guys look! Kaijira is glowing!
All 6: Eh?
Everyone in the river watched the dorsal plates on Kaijira's back returning as they began growing out and glowing a purple color.
Kaigon: Isn't that an attack?!
Kaigon was very concerned knowing that Kaijira could possibly be using a breath attack.

All 6: Eh?
As the dorsal plates slammed down, Kaijira let out a gentle burst of purple smoke out of mouth and into the water and as they mixed the entire river began glowing as well.
Glow~
Ku-kun & Dagon: Huh?
With the water starting to glow, Ku-kun's missing mandible regenerated in a rapid pace.
As well as Dagon's missing left head.
Takoyaki: Is he healing us?
Ryugon: I'M FEELING A SURGE OF ENERGY!
Hegon: This is he healing us?
Kaigon: He's not just healing us.

The glowing purple river water that Kaijira made was making plans especially flowers grow near the river.
Child 2: Haa~ The water is so relaxing~
The children in the river began to relax as the water began to feel really good.
Kaijira: Groan~
Kaijira was looking very pleased with the result then he turned back to the healed Beast Knights.
Kaijira: Groan~
Ku-kun: Is it just me or..?
Takoyaki: It's not just you, this guy looks very pleased.

Kotori: How is this possible? There's no way...
Kotori who was in the medical shelters had just finished doing a DNA test on the blood sample she got from Kaijira, and the result was something she hadn't expected.
Creak~
Atsuo: Kotori? Why did you call us here?
Aiya: You said it's something urgent?
Atsuo and Aiya came in the room after they were called by their daughter.
Kotori: Papa, Aiya-Mama... I've finished the DNA test on Kaijira's blood, and sigh~ How can I explain this?
Kotori continued to pace inside the room unable to tell her parents what she had found.

Atsuo: Kotori calm down, is it bad?
Atsuo held Kotori's shoulders to calm her down seeing how stressed she looked.
Aiya: Is it bad?
While Aiya was worried fearing what Kotori found could possibly be bad..
Kotori: Haa~ Alright.
Kotori prepared herself and began sharing what she had found.
Kotori: I've... I've found traces of Kaneki-chan's DNA in the blood of Kaijira.
Atsuo & Aiya: What?!
Hearing that Kaneki's DNA was present shocked Atsuo and Aiya.
Atsuo: What do you mean traces of his DNA?!
Kotori: It's not just his DNA present... Even Mama's DNA is in Kaijira's blood too.
Aiya: !!!
Kaneki's DNA being present was one thing, but Tohru's was completely unexpected.
Atsuo: How... How is that possible? Are you sure?
Kotori nodded and explained.
Kotori: Yes... I wasn't sure myself but after a few more tests I was able to determine that Kaijira really does have their DNA.
Atsuo: Does that mean that he's...
Kotori: A Beast Knight? Possibly but that gives us more questions than answers. How was he able to obtain Kaneki-chan's blood? As well as Mama's? And what animal was he?
Aiya: Animal? Wait are you saying—
Kotori: I wasn't find any more DNA aside from those two.
Atsuo: Hold on what? You couldn't find any other match for what animal he was?
Kotori: That's what I just said, but yes...
Atsuo: Wouldn't it be possible that...
Kotori: I thought about it, but no it couldn't be possible.
Aiya: What couldn't be possible?
Kotori: Kaijira was a former Devil of the Fallen, specifically the one who devoured most of Kaneki-chan.
Aiya: !!!
Aiya panicked upon hearing that possiblity, luckily Kotori was able to calm her down.
Kotori: But like I said, it's not possible. If Kaijira was a Beast Knight then Kaneki-chan would have made him one willingly.
Atsuo: That's how Beast Knights are made after all, a Demon Knight gives creatures of their choosing to give their blood and mutate them into Beast Knights.
Kotori: And I doubt Kaneki-chan would gamble everyone's life by turning a savage man eating monster into a Beast Knight. And in addition if Kaijira was a Devil of the Fallen, then there should be more like him since Kaneki-chan was ripped apart and devoured by multiple Devils of the Fallen.
Aiya looked back to how Kaneki was devoured, although it was painful, it proved Kotori right as multiple Devils of the Fallen devoured Kaneki's body parts.
Aiya: if that's the case then...
Kotori: We have no idea what creature Kaijira is.
Atsuo: So is he really a Beast Knight?
Kotori: It's possible. But I have another theory. It could be that... Kaneki-chan used his powers of creation to make Kaijira.
Atsuo: Kotori... That sounds more unbelievable.
Kotori: Sigh~ I know. His power of creation is limited after all.
Atsuo: Do you have any other theories?
Kotori: Nope... Sadly I can't think of anything else.
Atsuo: Then we still don't know what he is.
