Aiya: Sure. Thanks for the help son.
After coming back home from his talk about love with Natsuki and his unpleasant encounter with Ryueki.
Kaneki had happily ate dinner with his family and was now currently washing the dishes with his step mother Aiya.
As for his father and two sisters.
Miku & Atsuo: GOOOOOOO!
Kotori: FASTER! COSMO STRIKER!
Those three were watching horse racing on T.V.
And aside from the yelling of those three, everything was relatively calm in the Higanbana household.
An hour later~
Although after Kaneki had finished helping his step mother with the dishes...
Miku: Man~ I can't believe Sakura week had lost~
Kaneki: ...
Kaneki was just staring at Miku from behind.
Aiya: Hmm? Kaneki?
Kaneki: !!! I'll be heading to my room now, I need to plan for my class's trip to the beach tomorrow. Anyways see ya later!
After being noticed by Aiya, Kaneki immediately went to his room in a hurry.
Aiya: O-Oh okay?
Aiya's thoughts*
(He was staring at Miku just now right?)
In Kaneki's room*
Doki! Doki! Doki!
Kaneki: Haa~ My heart is beating this fast already just by staring at Miku? Man love is so weird...
After entering his room, Kaneki's heart was beating very quickly. All because he stared at Miku.
Kaneki: Would I even be able to look at them tomorrow? Ahhh~ I need someone to talk to right now.
Now that he understands his feelings for the Higanbana girls, he wanted someone to talk to about it.
But his current options were very limited.
Kaneki's thoughts*
(Should I tell Aiya-Mama and Papa? Wait no bad idea they might tease me. In that case why not Gramps and Grams- wait actually scratch them they'll just say weird stuff)
Kaneki: Aaaaahhh~ who should I talk about these feelings to?!?!
He was agonizing as he really wanted to tell his feelings to someone, but as he was panicking he saw a certain someone in his room.
Kaneki: Oh... Mama...
The sword containing his biological mother, Tohru Higanbana.
(Oh crap that's right I haven't talked to Mama in a while... She's going to be so mad at me!!!)
He was afraid that his mother would be mad at him, after all it's already been a few days since they last talked.
(Ah! No choice!)
But because he really wanted to talk about his feelings, Kaneki had no other choice and grabbed the sword and started talking to his mother.

Kaneki: H-Hey Mama good evening...
Tohru: [Oh Kaneki-chan! Good evening! So how was your day?]
Though he was scared that his mom would scold him for making her lonely, she was surprisingly very joyful.
Kaneki: Wait... Are you not mad at me for leaving you alone for a while?
Tohru: [What's there to be mad about? I mean sure I was definitely sad since I haven't heard my baby's voice in a while but I was never really lonely.]
Kaneki: Really?
Tohru: [Yeah. That's cuz Aiya-chan always came to give me company.]
Kaneki: Eh? Aiya-Mama regularly talks to you?
Tohru: [That's right! As fellow wives of Atsuo and mothers to Kotori-chan and Kaneki-chan we should get along!]
Kaneki's worry about his mother instantly disappeared after learning that both his mothers were getting along.
Kaneki: Hehe~ Thank goodness. Oh and I'm really sorry for leaving you on your own in my room.
Tohru: [No biggie. Now then! What is it do you seek my dear?]
Kaneki: Huh? What do you mean?
Tohru: [I mean you do have another reason aside from feeling guilty to talk to me right?]
Kaneki: Oh yeah... That's right.
After being reminded of his original purpose for talking to his mother, Kaneki braced himself.
Kaneki: Haa~ Mama listen to what I have to say okay?
Tohru: [I'm ready for whatever you have to say, Kaneki-chan!]
Without any hesitation, Kaneki told his mother about his love for the Higanbana girls.
Kaneki: I'm... I'M IN LOVE WITH NATSUKI, SACHI, SHINO, MIKU YUUKA AND CHI-CHAN!
And the way he told her was rather loud.
Tohru: [...]
Kaneki: Um... Mama?
Tohru: [By love... Do you mean as friends or...]
Tohru couldn't believe what she was hearing from his son, but the moment Kaneki confirmed what love he meant.
Kaneki: I... I LOVE THEM AND I WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH THEM!
Tohru [My son is in love... WOOHOO! MY SON IS IN LOVE WITH SO MANY CUTE GIRLS! LETS GOOOOO!]
Tohru instantly became excited.
Kaneki: Mama?
Tohru: [Ahem~ Sorry about that Kaneki-chan, I was just so happy. So you're in love with those girls?]
Kaneki: That's right.
Tohru: [Hehe~ So did you come to me to ask for advice regarding love? If so I'm happy to help!]
Kaneki: N-Not really. I just want to talk about it.
Tohru: [Booo~ And here I thought I'll be able to give some wisdom. Oh well this is good as well. So tell me Kaneki-chan when did you realized your feelings?]
Kaneki: It may be hard to believe but.. only a few hours ago.
Tohru: [What?]
Kaneki began explaining everything that led to him realizing his feelings towards the Higanbana girls to his mother until she understood the situation.
Tohru: [I see, now I understand. Although there's one thing I couldn't believe.]

Tohru: [Kaneki-chan... You confessed your feelings way to early! Hahahaha!]
Kaneki: Please don't laugh...
Tohru: [Sorry, sorry Kaneki-chan. You just reminded me of myself]
Kaneki: I do?
Tohru: [Yup! When I learned that I was in love with your father because I kept getting those weird heart beats and I talked to him about it. I ended up confessing my feelings for him on the spot as well haha~ how nostalgic.]
Kaneki: Wow... Man that's amazing.
Tohru: [Right? So what did Natsuki do when you confessed? She accepted your feelings right?]
Kaneki: No, she rejected me.
Tohru: [SAY WHAT?!]
Tohru was both surprised and pissed after hearing that her son was rejected by one of the girls he loved and so.
Tohru: [BRING ME TO THAT NATSUKI BRAT! LET ME SCOLD HER FOR REJECTING MY CUTE SON!]
She wanted to confront Natsuki herself, but luckily Kaneki explained her reason for rejecting him and calmed Tohru down.
Tohru: [Sigh~ You could have told me that sooner Kaneki-chan.]
Kaneki: Sorry. But yeah we're obviously not ready to be in a relationship yet... And there's also something else that needs to be cleared up.
Tohru: [Shino-chan, Yuuka-chan and Miku-chan]
Kaneki: Yeah. My contract will probably start taking affect soon, I hope they are ready.
Tohru: [Same here]
Kaneki: Say Mama. Do you really approve of my love towards them?
Tohru: [What do you mean?]
Kaneki: Well... With everything that happened when high school started and...
Though Kaneki loved Shino, Yuuka and Miku he was rather afraid of whether or not his Mom actually approves of them.
Tohru: [Well... I'll admit I was originally angry at them for hurting you- scratch that I was actually quite furious]
Kaneki: !!!
Tohru: [But when I spoke to Yuuka-chan I learned that she was trying to fix their relationship with you.]
Kaneki: Really?
Tohru: [Yes. And judging from what's happening now they are close to completely succeeding.]
Kaneki: Yeah... Thank goodness.
Tohru: [They are good kids, I know that they alongside Sachi-chan, Chikao-chan and Natsuki-chan would make you happy]
Kaneki: ... Smile~
Hearing his mother say something so nice about all six of his crush's made Kaneki really happy.
Kaneki: Thanks Mama.
Tohru: [No problem Kaneki-chan, Oh but be sure to wear protection when you eventually sleep with them.]
Kaneki: Hmm? Why would I need armor when I sleep with them?
Kaneki was confused with Tohru's weird advice.
Tohru: [OH CRAP! I shouldn't talk about that kind of stuff to you yet!]
Kaneki: Mama is weird.
Tohru: [Forget what I just said, but please treat your soon to be girlfriends with a lot of love okay?]
Kaneki: I will.
Tohru: [Now then, is there anything else you want to talk about?]
Kaneki: Actually... I have this new manga I bought and I really love it. It's about-
Kaneki then started talking about his favorite manga again to his mother.
Meanwhile in Atsuo's and Aiya's room*
While Kaneki was now currently talking about his favorite manga to his mother.

Atsuo & Aiya: Our boy is in love!
Both Atsuo and Aiya were hugging each other while jumping happily in their room.
The reason? Those two had secretly listened to Kaneki's entire conversation with Tohru from outside of his room.
Aiya: This would mean that Kaneki and Miku will start dating soon!
Atsuo: And he's going to have six total girlfriends! We have to do our best to support them!
Aiya: That's right! Having sic girlfriends is going to be costly, we should probably help Kaneki find a part time job so he could afford them.
Atsuo: I know some part time jobs that Kaneki could easily take and they pay a huge sum as well.
The two parents were very overjoyed and were now preparing themselves to find ways to support Kaneki and his soon to be girlfriends including their daughter Miku.
As for Kotori and Miku.

They were still watching horse races.
Nothing much had happened, but the beach trip will be a lot more fun.
