Shino: You guys think Kaneki would be even able to handle seeing us in swimsuits?
Th day of the beach trip had arrived, currently Shino was walking with Sachi and Miku to the pick up spot where Kaneki would come with KaneLiner and take their entire class including Azusa and Emi to the beach.
On their way Shino had actually gotten worried about Kaneki, this was due to him falling in love with them.
Miku: Why would that be a problem?
Shino: Think about it, the times we've shown our bare bodies to Kaneki he doesn't even care but what if that changes because he's now in love with us?
Miku: C'mon Shino-Oneechan you're probably just overthinking it.
Sachi: Yeah it's not like falling in love would change the way you behave.
Shino & Miku: ...
The moment Sachi had said that in a joking manner, both Shino and Miku has stopped in their tracks in silence with a guilty expression all over their face.
Sachi: Hmm? Shino? Miku? Did I say something?
Shino: You're wrong Sachi.

Seeing how they both reacted, Sachi immediately realized what was going on and apologized.

Shino: Yeah... Maybe if you were here during that entrance ceremony we wouldn't have fallen in love with him.

As Sachi was about to apologize for making them remember, a sudden question came to mind.

She wanted to know why her friends fallen in love with a total stranger out of nowhere during the said entrance ceremony.

Sachi: There has to be a reason right? I mean you and I originally fell were in love with Kaneki originally because he looked cool after he took down that bear.

Sachi: Mhmm! We even got more reasons to love him as time went on, the same goes for you Miku.
Miku: Fair.
Sachi: I'm not trying to scold you two or anything okay? But it doesn't make any sense how could you two fall in love with a total stranger that you haven't met before in your life.
Facing Sachi's question, both Shino's and Miku's expressions turned from guilty to curious.
Sachi was making sense.
Shino: Yeah... It really doesn't and I'll admit it can't just be looks right? I mean Kaneki does look a lot cuter and even cooler than him in a lot of occasions.
Miku: Well for me maybe it's somewhat explainable due to me being in love with my original Onii-chan. But I had already made peace with that he was gone a long time ago. So why would my old feelings for my old Onii-chan return? Was it because of his face or something else?
The two pondered for explainable reasons but couldn't find any.
Sachi: Strange... Maybe we should ask Ai-chan.
Miku: Wait why her?
Sachi: This may sound silly but... What if there's like hypnosis involved or something?
Shino: Hypnosis? That does sound plausible but are we sure we should ask Kotori-san about it?
Miku: I agree with Sachi-Oneechan.
Shino: You do?
Miku: That guy tried using us for his twisted "story" and was even willing to let us die... And also during the W.S.S.F many of the girls that attacked us and Onii-chan haven't even talked to him yet they attacked Onii-chan and us.

Sachi: Alright I'll ask Ai-chan about it later.

With them agreeing to ask for Kotori's help the three went back to walking to the pick up spot.
Sachi: Oh yeah the meet up spot is also near a convenient store right? Let's get some ice cream first before we go there to calm ourselves down.

After the three had went to the convenient store to buy ice cream, they finally arrived to the pick up spot where the rest of class 1-C was waiting for Kaneki.
Natsuki: Wow ice cream this early in the morning?
Chikao: Did you at least buy us some?
Miku: Hehe~ sorry.
Natsuki: Boo~
With the Higanbana girls now meeting up they began to talk as they waited with the rest of their class for Kaneki to arrive.
Kotori: Looks like I'm going to be of help again.
Kotori meanwhile was just leaning on the wall with a satisfied look on her face.
Azusa: Are you planning something bad?
Kotori: Why would I do that cousin? In the contrary I'm going to be very helpful!
Azusa: Hmmm...
Keiko: Good morning Kotori-san.
Kotori: Good morning Keiko-chan, Itsuki-chan.
Itsuki: Can you please not call me that? By the way is Kaneki arriving soon?
Kotori: Mhmm! Kaneki-chan will be arriving in a few minutes.

???: Hey is that?
???: Yeah it is!
After a few minutes the loud whistle of KaneLiner echoed from afar, indicating Kaneki was arriving.
Azusa: Everyone! Get off the tracks!
Everyone: Okay~
Prompt by Azusa, Kaneki's friends and classmates all got off the tracks as the train was now arriving.

With a loud screech from the wheels breaking, KaneLiner began to slow down until it made a full stop.
Natsuki: I still can't believe Kaneki made this train.
Sachi: Yeah it looks so cool!

Now that KaneLiner had made it's stop, the doors of it's passenger carts had opened.
Kaneki: Good morning everyone~
And emerging from one of the doors was Kaneki, he happily got out of the train carts and greeted his classmates and friends.
???: Good morning Higanbana-kun.
Kaneki: Good morning! Hope you're all ready! By the way the only rules once you guys enter is don't cause trouble when you're in the train, don't go near the main engine and lastly do not disturb me because I will be doing something while we head to the beach.
???: Got it!
Kaneki: Okay before we go let's make sure that everyone is here, so roll call.
Before he allowed everyone to enter his train, Kaneki began calling out the names of his classmates.
It went very smoothly until he got to the Higanbana girls.

Everyone: Huh?

Seeing that Kaneki was having a hard time saying Natsuki's name, everyone from Class 1-C were confused and the Higanbana girls embarrassed.

He then went back inside the train cart and waited for everyone to go in.

Sachi, Shino, Yuuka, Miku & Chikao: Let's go!
The Higanbana girls went in first to avoid the question from their classmates.
But two of them already knew what was going on.

After everyone had put their equipment for the trip in safe places, they all settled into their seats as they were about to leave.

Kaneki: Okay everyone, if any of you need me I'll be in the main engine.

Chikao: What makes you think that?
She was then joined by one of the boys.
???: Yeah he usually sticks really close to you girls, just yesterday he was hugging you all with no hesitation and nows he's avoiding you.
???: Yeah what was that all about?
All 6: W-Well...
The Higanbana girls could answer them, but they were to embarrassed to tell them.
Azusa: Man I shouldn't have talked about that with cousin.
Emi: It's alright Azusa-chan.
Sachi: Um... Ai-chan?
The Higanbana girls turned to Kotori for help but she was just enjoying everything and didn't want to help.
Kotori: I don't know anything!
Kotori said with a teasing smile.
Their faces turned flushed as they really can't bring themselves to tell their classmates.
But just then Itsuki and Keiko answered for them.
Itsuki & Keiko: Isn't it obvious? He's is looove~
Everyone: What?!
Itsuki: I mean judging from his reaction earlier, he is clearly in love.
Keiko: We hit the spot, right Natsuki?
Natsuki: Y-Yeah it's true.
With Itsuki and Keiko helping them, the Natsuki and amiku then confirmed what the two had said.
Miku: Yeah that's the case... He really is in love with us.
But their classmates were very surprised.
???: Wait hold on. So you guys weren't dating him this whole time?
Shino: What? Makes you think that?
Itsuki: Well Kaneki always hangs around you guys, and also with what happened yesterday it's pretty easy to assume you girls were dating him.

Itsuki: Yup!
Keiko: Besides this is Kaneki we're talking about, he probably didn't realize his feelings for them until recently.
Natsuki: Yeah that's actually the case too, because of Azusa-san.

Their classmates then looked at Azusa's direction.
Azusa: Yeah... I talked about love to my cousin, so now he realized the feelings he had for them.

Natsuki's embarrassment had disappeared as she started to talk about her talk with Kaneki the previous night.

???: Poor Higanbana-kun that must've been the reason he was avoiding you all.
They started to feel bad, but Yuuka immediately shut them up.
Yuuka: Everyone calm down, Kaneki took it pretty well.
???: But Mizutani-san rejected him, he's definitely hurt.
Natsuki: No not really, he took it pretty well and was very understanding too.
Keiko: Seriously?
Natsuki: Yup. He isn't used to his new feelings for us, but we made an agreement to when he's ready he'll confess to us and we're obviously going to accept his feelings!
Natsuki said very proudly.

???: I guess I can understand.
Their classmates were started to understand but one thing wasn't clear.
???: But if that's the case, why is Higanbana-kun avoiding you?
Chikao: Who knows? Probably his feelings for us.
Itsuki: Or the most logical explanation, he's imagining what you girls look like in your swimsuits!

Their classmates started to gang up on Itsuki.
Sachi: That escalated quickly for Itsuki.
Chikao: Yeah. But... Do you guys think Kaneki is actually imagining us in our swimsuits?
Shino: C-C'mon this is Kaneki we're talking about, he saw us naked on a few occasions there's no way he's going to be flustered over swimsuits.
Miku: It's not that far fetched.
Natsuki: Hehe~ Well unless we ask him, we won't know.

In the cab of the engine, Kaneki was assembling his model kit figure of Shizu Ishinomori and Hiro Akikawa.
His two favorite characters from his favorite manga.
But even though he was trying to focus on assembling them.

Kaneki couldn't help but imagine what the Higanbana girls, his first loves would look like in the swimsuits.
In his imagination they all looked cute and beautiful, but faced with such imagination he thought he was having impure thoughts about them and was a bit ashamed.
Kaneki: Man... This is going to be a long day.
And so he spent his time in the cab trying to complete his figures while imagining the Higanbana girls in swimsuits until he and everyone else got to the far away beach they planned to spend most of the day in.
But just how will chaotic the trip will be? Well for Kaneki at least.
