After Sachi, Chikao, Aiya and Shino learned about Ryueki's second personality being real as well as the truth to Shino's, Yuuka's and Miku's estrangement with Kaneki.
The Higanbana girls were all fired up, and now Kotori called for everyone who helped in the investigation to meet at Kaneki's room.
Kotori: Everyone is here, good.
Kotori had called her parents, as well as calling Azusa and Emi on a tablet since they did helped them as well.
Natsuki: So why do we need to piece together everything we know?
Natsuki though didn't quite understand why.
Yuuka: It's so we could have a clear understanding of what we're up against, considering we know a few important things.
Kotori: That's right. For example, the world will be brought to an end if Kaneki-chan dies, that trash has another personality which seems to be for the attack by manipulating Shino-chan, Yuuka-chan and Miku-chan. And... Probably the most scary one we discovered today...
Natsuki: That other personality... It has existed long before entering Highschool, it also guided and helped him by putting many girls under a spell.
Yuuka: A spell that's tampers with a girls feelings and desires...
Everyone in Kaneki's room went silent after hearing that.
"Hold on, can you tell us what you're talking about?"
"Yeah, we already know about project fallen star and Itadori's connection to it but we haven't heard anything about a spell."
Kotori: We'll get to that, for now let's all recall what we know. First of all the first information I acquired, the prophecy of the end of the world. I don't remember if some of you heard about it so please stay calm in case you don't. Before Kaneki-chan's incident the Council had found a mural which depicted the end of the world and had the words "When the emperor falls, I will rise again".
Atsuo: we definitely know what those two means.
Kotori: Nod~ The emperor refers to Kaneki-chan and the "I" is most likely referring to Demon lord Lucifer.
Yuuka: We also found a couple of murals which showed him alongside a human which was most likely helping him.
Atsuo: That human was most likely either an artistic choice, or probably part of the prophecy which led to project fallen star.
"That project made many human infant vessels using the blood of Lucifer, in a base nearby Osaka and they were all thought to be destroyed by Demon Knight Hiragi"
Aiya: But one of the vessels that were being shipped out was able to survive her attack and was found and adopted.
Natsuki: That vessel is Itadori Ryueki, whom had been popular with girls since we were kids... And he used many girls throughout the years trying to make me fall for him.
Kotori: And now to the important part, these many girls would fall in love with him the instant they set eyes on him, and as we said earlier it was most likely due to a spell which tampered with their feelings.
Miku: Which came from his second personality, the one that must've existed since he was a baby.
Natsuki: Nod~ And from what that other personality told us, it was guiding him.
Yuuka: Either it was guiding him to become the perfect vessel or guiding him to destroy Kaneki.
Chikao: It could be both, I mean he did have a big and fragile ego plus he definitely holds a grudge against Kaneki ever since the W.S.S.F.
Shino & Sachi: That does makes sense.
Kotori: Yeah... And the second personality must've used his hatred of Kaneki-chan to influence him the same way the Clad of Black Wings would.
Yuuka: That's right, through its influence it gained the ability to take control of his body.
"What?!"
"The second personality took control of his body?!"
Keiko: That's right!
Itsuki: It was so freaky! The voice was deeper and creepy!
Keiko: It sounded like an old man!
Both Itsuki and Keiko were both freaked out when they saw it take control.
Aiya: That's must've been scary...
Kotori: And because it can take control, that would mean that during the day where Kaneki-chan, Shino-chan, Yuuka-chan and Miku-chan were supposed to reconcile, it took control and well we know the rest.
Sachi: These three were put under their control and Kaneki was attacked.
Shino, Yuuka & Miku: Yeah...
Natsuki: Hold on, there's something I'm curious about.
Everyone: Hmm?
Natsuki: Back when we were interrogating him, when he was talking about the spell he said something about being impressed and curious about Shino, Yuuka and Miku being able to break his spell.
Atsuo: Did it even say such a thing?
Natsuki: Yes but Kotori-san had cut him off before he could continue.
Kotori: Oh...
Shino: Wait we broke the spell?
Natsuki: That's what he said. He also said something about it being a bit difficult controlling you guys.
Yuuka: I'm so confused.
Kotori: Yeah. The spell is most likely some form of mind control and those type of spells and abilities are thought to be extinct and they are incredibly hard to break free from, so how could you girls possibly have broken it?
With Natsuki's information about Shino, Yuuka and Miku breaking the spell a new question came to mind.
"Hm... I have a theory"
One that Azusa seems to have an answer for.
"Take this with a grain of salt and I apologize if I make things awkward—"
Chikao: Can you get straight to the point, prez?
"Ahem! I think how you girls were able to break free from the spell is through your love for cousin"
Shino, Yuuka & Miku: Eh?
Itsuki & Keiko: Eh?
Atsuo, Aiya & Kotori: Eh?
Everyone stared at the tablet all bewildered by Azusa's baseless theory.
"Please hear me out, I only thought of this after I recalled seeing other girls in Mato High that were never shown to have any interest in him and one of them is in the table you're all sitting at right now, Keiko-san"
Keiko: Me???
Keiko was surprised to be mentioned.
"Correct and another one of these other girls who had no interest in him is me as well, and we both have something similar"
Keiko: Which is?
"We both are dating the boys that we love so much"
Keiko: Blush~
Natsuki: Um could you please elaborate?
"Sorry to put simply, I think by having a strong enough feelings or bond with someone else be it a friend or lover the spell wouldn't affect you, or even if you are under the spell, your real strong feelings and bond you have with that important person would break the spell"
The moment Shino heard Azusa's theory in more detail, her expression changed.
Shino: !!!
Natsuki: Shino?
Her face was filled with some shock as she recalled how she felt when she realized what she had done to Kaneki when she was under the spell.
Shino: When I saw Kaneki's face on our way home after the first day after school, I felt so ashamed for hurting the boy I loved.
Yuuka & Miku: ... It was the same for us as well.
Yuuka and Miku had experienced the same feelings at two different times, and they understood how Shino was feeling as well.
Kotori: Seems like your theory is right, cousin.
Chikao: How were you able to guess that prez?
"As I said other girls didn't showed any interest, I forgot to mention you as well"
Chikao: Me???
Sachi: To be fair Chi-chan, you are a bit obsessed with Kaneki. Your room is literally filled with pictures of hi—
Chikao: Sachi don't say that Infront of everyone!
Kotori: Well that answers our question about the spell then, although it's also quite clear what's going on.
Atsuo: Yeah... You got that right.
Kotori: This second personality had been planning to bring the world to it's end and is trying to bring back Demon Lord Lucifer.
Atsuo: By using the ones that Kaneki loves the most against him, and once he was weak enough he'd attack and try to kill him.
Kotori: Which he was only able to destroy half of Kaneki-chan's soul.
Everyone went silent when Kotori mentioned half of Kaneki's soul possibly being destroyed.
Kotori: That's what he thinks at least.
Atsuo: Do you believe he's lying?
Kotori: No, I think he's convinced but he hasn't really destroyed half of Kaneki-chan's soul.
Sachi: How can you be sure that half of Kaneki's soul isn't destroyed?
Kotori looked at everyone before muttering the words—
Kotori: Mama.
Atsuo & Aiya: Tohru?
She mentioned Tohru for a very good reason.
Kotori: Mama had came face to face with half of what remains of Kaneki-chan, and he had told her something in a cryptic language that she couldn't understand, but she clearly saw him looking desperate.
Natsuki: Nod~ Yeah she did say that.
"But how does that connect to cousins soul?"
Sachi: Did you look at her memory and learned what he has said?
Kotori: Nope, but that's a good idea.
Atsuo: Then what is it?
Kotori: Well i can see him being desperate in two things. Everyone's safety or he wants us to do something.
Miku: I'm more lost.
Kotori: Sorry but I'm putting together loose connections, but yeah if he was desperately telling something to Mama then it could be either or both of those two.
Shino: But what could he possibly want us to do?
Natsuki: Well... We can try asking Kaneki, although.
Everyone looked at Kaneki's unconscious body again and as usual he wasn't awake.
Natsuki: Yeah we can't really do that right now, but he was able to answer my questions earlier.
Kotori: That's a good idea Natsuki-chan, we can ask him when he wakes up again. But here's one of the last information I have that could be connected to what Kaneki-chan wants us to do.
Everyone: Which is?
Kotori: The doors, they had been shaking ever since Kaneki-chan got home form the hospital and when I was able to barely open them I saw a bright light for a split second.
Itsuki: So what you're saying is, Kaneki might want us to open these shaking doors?
Kotori: Yes.
After Kotori's answer everyone didn't speak for a few seconds.
Kotori: Okay since we have nothing else to add, Ryugon!
Swoosh!
Ryugon went to the middle of the room.
Kotori: You seem to have recognized the other personality's voice.
Everyone: What?!
Ryugon: That's correct. Although because I had been stone for two thousand years with my brothers, my memory is a bit foggy I have heard many voices and laughs long ago it will take some time for me to fully remember.
Kotori: I see, that's the last piece of information we currently have. Thank you for sharing what you know.
Ryugon: Happy to help.
Kotori: Good.
With sharing the information they all know and making some connections between them, the meeting was now over.
Kotori: Okay our meeting is now over.
Itsuki: Well, we'll be going now.
Keiko: We were happy to help, I guess?
Itsuki & Keiko: See you later everyone.
After saying their goodbye's Itsuki and Keiko left.
"We'll keep watch on the doors in our home, we'll notify you all if we find something"
"Good luck everyone!"
Azusa and Emi ended their call.
Natsuki: Well... I'm going home now, I'll see you all tomorrow.
Yuuka: Yeah same here.
Sachi, Shino & Chikao: See you all later.
And most of the Higanbana girls all went home, leaving the Higanbana family in Kaneki's room.
Miku's thoughts*
(There's so much things happening... Onii-chan please come back)
Aiya: I should've invited everyone for dinner, oh well it's too late for that now.
Atsuo: speaking of dinner, let's get prepared.
Aiya: Alright.
Kotori: I'll be watching the doors again.
Miku: And I'll watch over Onii-chan.
Meanwhile~
In Ryueki's mind*
While everyone was having their meeting, Ryueki was having one of his own.
Ryueki: When the hell can we make our move?!?!
???: be patient, our time is almost upon us.
Ryueki: YOU KEEP SAYING THAT BUT YOU—
???: I said be patient, you're lucky I kept half of that little emperor intact. If you don't behave I won't allow you to get your revenge.
Ryueki: Tch! Don't keep me waiting!
???: Oh I won't, my army is already almost finished once they're all done we can take this world that's rightfully ours.
Ryueki: Hahahaha! I like the sound of that! My story... It will get it's good ending! At long last!!!!
