Taron Village was situated some thousand or two kilometers from the Orcspine Mountains. The Orcspine Mountain was the longest mountain range in the continent. It separated the far eastern sector of the continent with the rest of it.
In the overall map, the far eastern portion it separated wasn't that large. However, in actuality, its breadth was bigger than a mid-sized Terran country.
The orcs' place of origin was on this other side, and that was where Althea and Garan had to go and find the second item for the babies. Tarron Village was about eight to ten thousand kilometers away from it.
Typically, at least a few weeks would be needed to travel this distance. Even if there was one town within this distance, it was only a level 1 town. Even if it were to upgrade, there were no other towns to jump towards.
