Anne Sutton hadn't been that scared at first, but after hearing what Caleb Summers said, she glanced at him, a little nervous. "Really?"
Caleb Summers nodded.
Nathan Fawcett stood to the side, watching the two masterminds. He walked over and pushed the door open.
'What's the use of just analyzing things? Better to go in and see for myself!'
When Anna Linden saw Nathan Fawcett walk in, she asked, "What are you doing in here?"
Nathan Fawcett looked at his mother and asked, "I should be the one asking you that. What are you doing here?"
Hearing Nathan Fawcett's tone, which sounded like an interrogation, Anna Linden snapped, "Is that how you speak to me? I'm your mother!"
Nathan Fawcett said, "I just don't understand what you're doing here. Do you hate the idea of me being with Anne Sutton that much? Do you hate the idea of me being happy? If it were Ethan Linden standing in front of you today, would you still be acting like this?"
