Anna Linden smiled. "Do you think he's a good person?"
"I've spent time with him. He's a very good person, and he loves you very much. He's always treated you as his everything. I heard from Anne that his relationship with his father has been strained for years because of you. Dr. Linden, I don't know much about your family's affairs, but Ethan Linden really is a fine young man."
"But you saw his attitude toward me just now! I was just coming here for a meal. Good grief, he made it seem like I was here to rob the place, bursting in like that."
It was humiliating, and that was another reason Anna Linden was angry.
Mrs. Sutton thought about the incident with Nathan Fawcett. She could tell he had just been worried.
Mrs. Sutton tried to console Anna Linden. "Dr. Linden, don't dwell on it. Your son is truly an outstanding man. Just have a good talk with him later! He'll listen. Don't work yourself up and get sick over it."
