Rita is a timid girl she has been bullied in her school, her life got better when she went to college and met some nice people who don't care about her look, but still trauma of being bullied never leave her. She is now 25 years old, her parents tried to find her a man but before everyone rejected her even though she has done masters in business from a top university. But this morning something unusual happen. Her mother come into her room without knocking it and tried to wake her up but she in sleeping mode so her mother just tell her "today we are going outside for lunch so wear something that look good on you, she nodded her head in yes and sleep again, she wakes up at 9 o clock and hurriedly comedown to have breakfast but everyone already sitting there at dining table and looking at her so she carefully sit without making any sound, than she took a piece of bread with butter to eat but then her maternal aunt iris commented "you want to look fit today" rita know they are taking her to see a guy but she know what will happen so she isn't taking any interest in it, she ignored her aunt comment and start eating her bread, her mother look at her sigh said "do you want to go for facial or something else, rita got froze for a moment but tried to hide her emotions, then her aunt iris says don't eat too much or else you will gain Wight it's already 60 kg. Rita has been listening to all this since at young age like about her skin colour or weight everyone advices her different things which made her a stoic person, she got bullied all her life because of her appearance so now she does not want to live in a bubble anymore and just want to live the way she is.
she continued to eat her breakfast without caring about others both her mother and aunt could not take this and continue drinking their tea. After breakfast they all went to their room but her dad whisper something to her mother, then her mother followed her to the room and said politely "dress properly your father's friend mr. marchantia will be there with his only son gilbert and your father expecting something good from this meeting, Rita quickly looks at her mother and said like she doesn't care "like it will work", her mother sigh and say this time it will don't think too much your father will look at everything.
Her mother leaves the room she laid on bed and starts feeling sleepy, she lost in her thought for a while and think whether it work or not it does not matter she will meet him as a friend and eat something delicious then comeback home, this is not a job interview so i don't need to think too much, he is dad's friend so it will be not too bad i can talk to him but what if he is too handsome what will i do, then her alarm rang and she come back to her senses and start getting ready, she wears dark peach colour dress and straighten her hair. she comes down, everyone got ready and waiting for her, her mother compliments her she looks beautiful today and kiss on her cheek.
They reached to the venue Rita looking at the seven-star hotel from her window, only one percent of rich can come here her heart beat got fasten as she come closer to the hotel door, rita's whole family enters the restaurant area which was reserved by rita's father, it's a private area so no one can come here except hotel staff. As Marchantia family come rita's father stood up to welcome his friend William and his wife marina and his son, there is a sitting area where mr. willam Marchantia sat next to rita's father, rita's mother, aunt iris and mrs. marina they sat together, rita and marchantia son Gilbert sit beside each other , Gilbert is a handsome man rita kept looking at him since he arrives but tried not to be obvious, mrs. marchantia asked her son to sit with rita somewhere else and talk to her and get to know eachother, rita had a feeling that the engagement is already decided, this meeting is just a formality but then gilbert said "I don't want to marry yet so you should have to say no when they ask you".
