Amelia PoV
I held Diego close to my bossom as the ground stopped shaking. Everything and everyone was quiet for a moment. No one spoke.
Nora was the first to break the silence. "Mama... will it be okay?"
I nodded and held her close too. "It'll be alright, Nora. We will be."
Tsuna hugged his papa tight, his tiny hands trembling.
Vadim rubbed his back and looked at me with those sky blue eyes of his. He nodded.
I knew what he was trying to say without words. We had to get going. Our family time was cut short, but at least we had the memory of it. But we had to say our final goodbye.
Diego and his cousin both began to cry. Moving their little legs and arms.
Lupa sighed. "Surprised they didn't cry during the shaking. Guess they are more emotionally stable than we give babies credit."
I had to chuckle a little at that.
"Or maybe they got tok scared to react," Nora mumbled, sighing.
