Apollo followed Cias as he flew them to a restaurant ,"Hey isn't this?" Cias nodded his head ,"Yes it is, this is the burger joint we went to when we met Michael Young afterwards." They went inside and sat down ,"I'll take the Wolverine I suppose(Isn't this the meal that I always get?)" Cias looked down ,"I'll get the Leopard(I used to get it all the time? Wonder why it's on here?)" When they ordered their meals the owner of the business popped out ,"Hey isn't that Apollo and Cias?" Apollo and Cias looked at him ,""Yes sir?"" The owner walked straight over to them ,"I knew it was you two that ordered here all the time when you were younger. I got your orders ingrained on the menu just in case you guys were to come back, I'm so glad that you did. I won't take any more of your time, thank you for saving the world and all!" Cias and Apollo looked at each other after he left ,"That was kinda awkward," Apollo said, Cias spoke back ,"What for the guy?" Apollo responded ,"No for us. Don't get me wrong, I love a little praise but I can't stand it too much, it just makes me uncomfortable." Cias shrugged his shoulders ,"Whatever then, kinda cool that we got our own menu items though. Soon we might not ever get to eat here ever again, so I say we take the compliment whilst we still can." They ate their meal and went outside.
Cias and Apollo sped up as they viewed the streets that looked at a stand still, they admired the beauty of their home. They went around to their favorite spots to eat, the places they practiced, the dojo's they learned from. Everything felt so fleeting, they both were feeling a sense of unease for their future. Life was so simple, grow up, train, fight, rest, chill, repeat. All the memories that they experienced welled up and caused them both to feel sentimental. Soon, they would not see any of this again for a while or ever again. Apollo looked at Cias ,"I'm so glad that you're my friend, with all the people around here, I've never felt like I really belonged to them. You were the only constant in my life, thank you so much for being my friend." Cias turned to him ,"You will always be my homie, no matter what happens." Apollo and Cias slipped out of their accelerated speed and approached their homes.
Apollo knocked on his door, he heard a squeak from the other side of the door, and the door opened. A little kid was in his home with raccoon ears, Apollo immediately recognized who it was ,"BANDIT?!?" Bandit looked at the ground ,"It seems that the training with Hiroto paid off." Apollo couldn't stop smiling as his family joined Bandit at the door. He entered inside and gave his family their levels of affection. He sat on the couch and reminisced over his life in the military, talking about the training, the people he fought and the people he'd met. His mom mistook his coming back ,"So are you on break?" That's when Apollo drew silent and looked at the floor ,"It seems that I've grown too strong, my ascension to the next dimension is near." His mom's eyebrows fell ,"What does that mean?" Apollo attempted to open his mouth and talk multiple times before finally succeeding ,"It means that my existence itself will transcend, allowing me to enter the 4th dimension, with that…" Apollo inhaled and exhaled ,"With that," he inhaled shakily ,"I may never see you again…"
His living room fell silent as his mother was having a hard time choking down her feelings ,"That's wonderful honey." Tears started forming and fell from her eyes as her body convulsed with the weight of the despair that she felt. His father looked with a blank expression and his sister gasped and opened her eyes wide. Bandit was heartbroken, he had grown so strong to fight alongside his friend, yet that didn't matter anymore. The mother then smiled ,"When will this "ascension" happen?" Apollo said ,"A little over a week from now." His mother looked at him and said ,"Then let's have some wonderful memories to commemorate this new opportunity for you!" She was trying her best to be optimistic as she tried hiding her emotions with joy. Apollo looked and smiled at his mother ,"I'm up for whatever you are!"
