BZZT BBZZT CLENCH CRUNCH Noah moved his now cybernetic hand ,"THANKS ANDREA." Andrea looked at him and squinted her eyes ,"No problem." Noah stood up and started getting used to his new hand, weirdly enough it moved just like his own hand, the only thing that was different is that he lost his sense of touch. He was told that this would probably be his best he would ever get again. He already kind of missed his hand, not feeling his hand clench would be weird. (Time to start training!!!) Noah thought as he entered the training room. After training he went to a house, he opened the door and saw his mom. Noah smiled ,"Hi mom." His mother smiled and screamed out loud ,"HI BABY!!!" Noah smiled ,"I'm not a baby," ,"No, but you're my baby." Noah smiled wider ,"I love you mom," ,"I love you too." ,"Remember I'll be gone for a long time, so try to find some friends, remember, the military will take care of you if you ask for some help. My contributions have earned me enough leeway to make sure you live the rest of your life comfortably like you deserve." His mother hugged him even tighter ,"Thank you for all that you've done. You are my pride and joy." All the medical work made his mother glow. No longer would she and him be out on the streets or in some dingy apartment. Noah felt a weird source of pride for what he'd done.
Devan was in his studio, designing his own music. Every time he touched his equipment, he was saddened, he had to create his whole setup again and what he did create would mean nothing from now on. His impact on this world would dissipate, along with him. Everything he spent so long to build up would be gone. He had worked tirelessly through this whole week to come up with something to put out and he had finished the album he was trying to make. All he had to do was come up with a name. Devan thought to himself (My last piece, My farewell, my final words. I think I like that). He called his producer and said through the speaker phone ,"I'll call the album My Final Words. It's been a great time working with you, I hope to see you again sometime, but that seems unlikely. I wish you the best of luck with your other clients." Devan sat back in his chair and stared at the wall, aware of the changes that were going to happen soon.
Cias summoned Onyx and showed him off to his family ,"Here's my, uhh, weapon, Onyx." His family was shocked but his father especially was very curious ,"So can it talk?" A voice sounded from its mouth, layering on top of other sounds it made ,"I can talk." Cias's father asked ,"So where does it go when you're done using it?" Onyx responded again ,"I go back into his soul, well, our soul really, but mainly his. We have a pathway connecting our two souls, making us similar to one whole being." Cias's father stroked his chin ,"Fascinating. Well, does um, do you want to join us for dinner?" Onyx replied ,"Yes sir, although I don't need the sustenance, I can still eat," ,"Ok then, well come on in!"
Apollo was sitting with his family at dinner time, Hiroto was there as well with his wife. They were all on the couch, Hiroto looked at Apollo ,"I see you've gotten strong enough to ascend, congratulations, I guess my training didn't fail you. You know, when I ascended, it was weird at first, thinking I'd never get back here, but as you can see, I'm here, so it is possible to go back. I'm sure I have the strength to get back, if you give me a message, I'll be there." Apollo forgot that Hiroto was once part of the interdimensional military, the IDM for short. Kenji looked out the window ,"Sorry I wasn't really able to help you guys fight, I guess I wasn't strong enough back then and I'm not strong enough now." Apollo replied ,"Dad it's fine." Kenji didn't say anything. His mother tried to bring up the mood ,"We have dessert!"
Apollo, Hiroto and Kenji smiled and rushed over to the kitchen to get their hands on some good stuff. Bandit sat down with them, now no longer a pet, he was his younger brother. Hiroto grabbed him ,"Don't worry about this little rascal, I'll make sure he's all trained up." Apollo breathed in and out, he was happy to have such a good family. His mother turned to him ,"Honey, I'm so glad you're here to eat with us. I'm so proud of how strong and mature you are. You know, Hiroto says that things that you touch directly and pass your ki through are transferred into higher material so we all bought you this watch together." Apollo opened the box and saw a covering on the watch, when he opened up the cover he saw the clock on the bottom and half, and on the top half was a picture of him and his family they took earlier today. His mother grabbed his hand tenderly ,"Make sure to not forget about us when you're away." Apollo felt shivers deep within his soul as emotions welled up, he grabbed everyone to give them all a hug at the same time ,"I love you guys."
