Flat-Brim Samurai Chapter 127 - Entering the 4th Dimension
As Apollo went around his home town for the last time he saw a face, it was Ava, from one of the dojos he challenged. He'd become good friends with her a while back so he waved his hand ,"YO!" Ava walked over and greeted him ,"Hi, how are you?" Apollo spoke in a calm tone ,"Not bad. Listen, I'm not sure how messaging works across dimensions but I'm not gonna be able to talk for a while… if ever again." Ava was shocked ,"WHY?!? What does that mean?" Apollo looked at her ,"I've grown strong enough to ascend to the next dimension." Ava was speechless, having to lose such a close friend was devastating ,"I wish you the best of luck, I'll always be here if you need me." Apollo smiled ,"I have to go, I don't have much time left here." She tried to say something as she saw the back of someone she admired walk away from her. Ava thought to herself (He just talked to me like that and he's leaving. That conversation was so short and that's all I got from him?). Ava wanted to follow him, but she sensed he was on a road that she could no longer walk on (Damnit).
Apollo, Noah, Cias and Devan all gathered in one spot with their families around them. They stood together as they all counted down the time until their ascension. It would happen in a matter of minutes. Apollo was holding his family in his arms whilst he said ,"I love you guys so much, I'll try my best to come back." Cias sat with his family ,"I can't wait to tell you how my journeys go." Noah sat with his mom and his girlfriend ,"I love you mom, I love you Seru," Seru replied ,"I will get strong to see you." Devan brought his family along ,"I got one more gift for you before I go," he passed over a CD that he made ,"These songs are personally made for the whole family." As time ticked by, they felt the impending future that they would endure.
They then got up, Noah felt himself getting lighter as the particles in his body started feeling like they were getting lifted up and transported, he smiled at his mom and at Seru. Devan was next to ascend, his body lifted up into the air ,"Peace out." Cias smiled at his family ,"I'll do my best to make a name for myself." Apollo looked down at his hands as they started disappearing, he observed his mother crying and his father and sister consoling her, Bandit was distraught. Hiroto smirked as he said ,"Good job kid, now get strong." With each moment more and more of his body disappeared.
In a moment he saw time flash before his eyes, visions and sights of the past and present practically burned in his retinas. The cosmic field of the nexus was flowing through him and he felt his existence both rise and fall at the same time. Everything started to reconstitute itself as his existence felt like it was growing at an enormous rate, folding and unfolding simultaneously. He felt the additional axis stretching his soul as a feeling that his body reconstituted itself emerged.
He opened his eyes like he had just taken a nap. He saw a massive laboratory that surrounded an infinitesimally small dot. One of the guardsmen said ,"Ascension detected sir, four anomalies just exited the third dimension." The old scientist couldn't believe his eyes, he had never seen an ascension since he started working 332 years ago, none the less 4 of them at the same time. The scientists looked at the guardsman ,"Get the gravitation machine active and drag them down here."
Apollo thought to himself (Where the hell am I). He then felt something grab hold of him with an intensity that he couldn't even struggle against. He was pulled along with the rest of his friends to the ground where they were observed. Apollo looked around at the impossibly tall ceiling and the material everything was made out of. It was stainless steel and marble with lines of gold, it was monumental. One of the scientists explained ,"You probably know this but we are currently in the 4th dimension. I'm sure you've fought immense battles to arrive here, I would love to hear your stories." Apollo felt tired all of a sudden ,"I can explain it after I take a nap, could I sleep anywhere around here?" The scientist opened his eyes ,"Oh yes, we have rooms over there." He pointed in a direction and led them to the rooms. The scientist opened the doors and said ,"You're going to have to deal with a lot tomorrow, so you should really get ready." Apollo and the rest walked into the room and all simultaneously fell onto their beds. Apollo thought to himself (This feels weird, like my strength grew infinitely, yet I feel weaker…) He clenched his hand. Apollo felt his energy course through his body (I guess all there is to do is to grow stronger).
