She felt goosebumps all over her skin, disgusted at the thought of unknown hands touching her belongings.
"What are you looking for?" Fu Yinxiu frowned.
Ming Yutong didn't answer, frantically searching everywhere, even crawling under the bed. "Where is it? Where did it go…?"
She rummaged through the mess on the floor, making her home even more chaotic. Then she pushed Fu Yinxiu aside and searched other rooms, but the diary was nowhere to be found.
That diary only contained records of her daily life, so why would anyone take it?
Suddenly, she looked back at Fu Yinxiu.
Fu Yinxiu frowned, "What are you looking at?"
"Where is the diary? Where did it go?" Ming Yutong, panicked, grabbed Fu Yinxiu.
"What diary?" Fu Yinxiu's face grew darker.
"Tell me, where did you hide the diary? What use is it to you? Please, just give it back to me!" Ming Yutong pleaded desperately, clutching Fu Yinxiu as if he were her last hope.
Fu Yinxiu's expression darkened even more, almost dripping with anger. "You think I took your useless diary?"
Ming Yutong suddenly realized her mistake.
Of course, with Fu Yinxiu's abilities and style, if he really wanted something, he could take it without leaving any trace. He wouldn't leave the place in such a mess.
His dangerous reaction made Ming Yutong calm down a bit.
She understood that she was grasping at straws, desperate to find the person who took her diary immediately.
Considering the state of the house, with many unnecessary items scattered around, and the computer and TV smashed, it seemed more like an act of warning and intimidation than a targeted theft.
The diary was likely taken as an afterthought upon its discovery.
That diary only recorded her past experiences, her illness, and her thoughts about Little Jingshi.
If someone took it to blackmail her, she wasn't afraid of her illness being exposed. She only feared that any exposure related to Little Jingshi would hurt him.
As she was thinking, Fu Yinxiu let out a derisive laugh.
Ming Yutong looked over and saw the disappointment in Fu Yinxiu's eyes before he turned and left.

Ming Yutong looked around at the mess her home had become, unrecognizable and in utter disarray.
Not just the furniture and appliances, but the contents of the cabinets were thrown out, with the bed linens scattered all over the floor and the couch cushions thrown haphazardly around the room.
The bottles and jars on the vanity were tipped over, with some lying on the floor.
The plastic bottles were lucky to be intact, while the glass ones were shattered.
Fortunately, her valuables, jewelry, and important documents were in the safe. The jewelry she usually wore was still there, not stolen. The house was in such a state that there was no place to stand.
Ming Yutong went to the kitchen and found broken dishes and cups all over the floor.
She forced herself to calm down, realizing that whoever did this could enter her home without breaking the lock.
The thought gave her goosebumps. Her home was no longer safe. If someone could come in like this today, what would happen if she were home next time?
Not wanting to take any chances, Ming Yutong immediately called Ming Yuqian.
It didn't take long for Ming Yuqian to answer, "Sister, what's wrong? Calling me at this time, are you inviting me to dinner?"
Ming Yutong looked around at the mess and couldn't bring herself to joke. "Yuqian, can you take me in for a few days?" she asked, her voice tired.
"What happened?" Ming Yuqian's tone changed, "Did Fu Yinxiu come to trouble you?"
Ming Yutong hesitated for a moment, realizing she hadn't thought of hiding from Fu Yinxiu at Ming Yuqian's place. "No," she replied, deciding to be honest. "Someone broke into my home. It's a mess, and I don't feel safe staying here alone."
There was a sudden crash on the other end of the line as Ming Yuqian jumped up, knocking over his chair. "Wait there, I'll be right over!" he said, grabbing his car keys and rushing out.
"No need, I'll drive over myself in a bit," Ming Yutong said, trying to reassure him. "Nothing happened to me, don't worry."
"Sis, sometimes you need to let yourself be taken care of," Ming Yuqian said urgently. "Something this serious happened, how can I let you come here by yourself? I should be there to protect you."
Feeling warm inside, Ming Yutong relented. "Okay."
She looked around the wreckage of her home and started packing.
She pulled out a suitcase and picked a few clothes that were still wearable and not dirty or mixed with broken glass. She put those clothes into the suitcase. For the underwear, she found a bag to put them in, planning to throw them away.
Not knowing who might have touched them, she didn't want to wear them again. She would buy new ones on the way to Ming Yuqian's place.
She also took the important documents from the safe, leaving the rest for another time.

"Turn back to He Biyuan," Fu Yinxiu suddenly instructed Alpha Guard 1, halfway to their destination.
Even though Ming Yutong had suspected him, he couldn't bring himself to leave her there alone. He had been too angry to think straight and had left in a huff. What if the intruder returned?
In the end, he couldn't abandon her.
Alpha Guard 1 didn't question the order, simply replying, "Yes, sir."
