Adrian's collar had flipped up, and Sienna stood on tiptoe to straighten it for him. Being this close, Adrian noticed the strong smell of alcohol on her.
"You said you didn't drink much, but you smell like a distillery," Adrian questioned.
"You can't even manage to come home early or avoid drinking, yet you demand that from me. Hmph, I'm not listening to you."
Sienna spoke in a sweet, coquettish voice, making it hard for Adrian to stay angry.
"You're a woman!"
"So what if I am?"
There was no room for negotiation on this matter. Adrian commanded, "From now on, you're not allowed to drink!" Considering her work nature, Adrian softened a bit, "At least, not too much."
"If you can come home early and not always drink yourself into a stupor, then I'll try not to stay out late or indulge too much," Sienna bargained with him.
What could Adrian say? Naturally, he agreed.
