"Hmm." The man nodded, "It's taken care of. Let's go."
Norris Moore looked up at him, not sure what she was thinking. Trenton Smith still had a faint smile on his face. She lowered her eyes in thought for a moment, then extricated her hand from Trenton's and walked over to those men.
The bar owner, seeing her approach, broke into a cold sweat.
Since the incident occurred in his establishment, if Miss Moore chose to pursue it, he would probably be unable to escape the consequences.
Trenton Smith watched her walk over, seemingly slightly surprised by her actions.
He remained where he stood, watching Norris walk up to the bar owner and bow her head.
"I'm sorry." Norris's voice was full of apology, "Did Treton cause you trouble? It's all my fault, he was impulsive because of me. Please don't take it to heart."
Trenton Smith was taken aback for a moment, then actually started to laugh. He didn't go over, allowing Norris to stand there and plead for him.
