the bar owner quickly responded.
Trenton Smith did not speak further, lifting his hand to wrap around Norris Moore's shoulders, and escorted her out.
Once the two left, the tension in the air immediately eased.
The bar owner's strength drained out of him, and he leaned against the wall, slowly breathing.
After a quiet moment in the hallway, a bodyguard came over and quietly asked him, "Boss, about that room... what should we do?"
The bar owner suddenly remembered the man in the private room who had been turned into a human stick by Trenton Smith. Cold sweat instantly started to stream down his body again, and his voice lowered as he shook his sleeve, saying, "I'll ask the young master later."
The person inside, it was certain he wouldn't make it out alive.
