Philip Shaw's expression turned cold at her remark, he glanced up at her. The little nurse shivered, clutching the water cup, "I, I'm leaving! I suddenly remembered there's something I haven't done yet!"
"..." Philip Shaw silently watched the little nurse flee the ward as if chased by ghosts, then quietly turned his gaze back to the person lying on the bed. Although she was conscious now, her face still looked pallid and sickly, resembling someone at death's door.
He watched her for a while, exhaled slowly, and walked to the window to look out at the relentless rain.
