Philip Shaw paused for a moment, seemingly wanting to ask her, "What exactly do you know?", but he held back, stood up from the bedside, and walked out of the room.
After a while, the door was opened again, and it wasn't Philip Shaw who came in, but a young nurse carrying a bowl of rice porridge.
Aldana Candi leaned against the headboard, her head slightly tilted, her gaze resting on the rain outside the window, looking quite desolate and frail.
The nurse carefully closed the door and explained to her, "You've just woken up, your stomach isn't well yet, you can't eat greasy food, only water or something light. Otherwise, you'll vomit."
Aldana nodded, "It's okay."
The nurse sat by the bed, feeding her porridge.
