Aldana Candi stood at the door and shouted to the man lounging leisurely against a coconut tree nearby, "Philip Shaw, it's time to come back and make lunch!"
She saw him look up and give her a toothy smile, then wave at her to show he had heard; then he turned his head, said something quietly to the young woman standing in front of him, and quickly ran back towards her.
Aldana saw the brown-skinned girl turn her head towards her and give her a fierce glare, full of jealousy. Like music, some emotions are universal, even if they don't speak the same language, Aldana clearly understood her meaning.
"..." She felt a bit speechless.
Philip Shaw ran up to her, perhaps because of his earlier flirtation, he now seemed all lively and full of spirit, smiling too brightly.
