In his eyes, there seemed to be starlight floating, making one's heart skip a beat.
Aldana Candi pointed in the direction of the kitchen, "You should make dinner."
Philip Shaw slowly withdrew his gaze, lowered his eyes and smiled slightly, then nodded gently and said, "Okay."
He tossed the leaves in his hand to the ground and turned around to enter the kitchen.
Aldana Candi watched the leaf fluttering down, then looked up at Philip Shaw's back. She thought to herself, perhaps she shouldn't be so distant from him. Those things from the past had nothing to do with him, nor did they have any real connection to who he was now. She didn't need to always take her past frustrations out on him.
But does it really have nothing to do with him?
At least when she saw that face, she couldn't treat him with an ordinary mindset.
She sighed softly, bent down to pick up the slender leaf, rubbed it between her fingers, and then tossed it outside the door.
