"Aldana, what are you doing here all by yourself?"
Ellen came down from upstairs and saw Aldana squatting alone on the ground, and couldn't help but ask.
"Your hands are so cold." Ellen reached out to pull her up from the ground, holding her fingers and rubbing them, "What's wrong? Did you catch a cold?"
"I'm fine." Aldana glanced at the curtains, then quickly looked away, lowering her voice, she said softly, "Is the meal ready? I'm a bit hungry."
"There's still a pot of fish left, Eric's cooking upstairs." Ellen led her slowly upstairs, looking down at Aldana's feet, a smile appearing on her face, "You can walk without a crutch now. It seems in a few more months, you will be able to walk completely without crutches."
Aldana smiled and responded, being led by Ellen to the temporary dining room.
