"Okay, okay." Aldana Candi brushed away her hand, "Go get busy, I'll go see him."
"What's there to see about him," Ellen Candi couldn't help but mutter again, "Why do you pamper him so much?"
Aldana Candi turned her head and gave her a look.
"...Alright, alright, I won't say anything." Ellen Candi made a zipper-mouth gesture, "I'm off to cook now, what do you want for dinner?"
"Whatever you like." Aldana Candi looked at her helplessly, "Go on, hurry."
Once Ellen Candi left, Aldana Candi lifted the curtain and walked in.
Angela Summer was standing with her arms crossed, guarding Philip Shaw's hospital bed like a female bodyguard. When she saw Aldana enter, she silently lifted her head to glance at her, then coldly shifted her gaze away.
Aldana Candi walked over and found Philip Shaw still asleep. His injuries were so severe that he was awake far less often than asleep.
