Jillian Carter looked at the room that suddenly became empty, looked at Father Carter with furrowed eyebrows, and said, "Dad, I'm not being capricious, nor am I sulking with you. You both know, I had a lot of issues with Jane Sampson in the past. If I continue to stay here, it'll only annoy her more, and I'm afraid she'll feel like I'm still occupying her stuff and refusing to leave."
Jillian walked over and hugged Mother Carter, "Mom, don't feel sad. I'll come back to visit you and dad when I have time. Jane Sampson is so nice, later on, with her accompanying you and dad, you both will be very happy. Once Jane is used to this place, used to me, if she doesn't mind, I can move back, it'll be the same. Leaving now is just temporarily, to give her enough space to adapt. I'm not dad and mom's daughter; for dad and mom to have loved me for so long, I'm really content."
Jillian's words immediately brought tears to Mother Carter's eyes.
