Like desperately seeking a definitive answer, Jillian Carter even disregarded whether Joseph Shaw was driving, reaching out to grab Joseph Shaw's hand and loudly demanding, "Quick, tell me, is it true! Is it! Sooner or later, I'm going to take back my belongings, one by one!"
"Yes!" Henry Shaw slammed on the brakes to bring the car to a stop, then soothed Jillian Carter's emotions, "Trust me, you won't go wrong."
"My room, my things, my daddy and mommy, my brother, sooner or later, I'll take back what's mine from Jane Sampson!" Jillian Carter gritted her teeth, a cold glint in her eyes, "I will never lose! Jane Sampson, just you wait and see!"
In an attempt to calm Jillian Carter's nerves, Joseph Shaw reached over to turn on the car radio, hoping it would distract her.
