Peter Gingery knew that James Black disliked him being a big lamp, so after chatting with Jane Sampson for a couple of words, he left under James Black's urging gaze.
The door was slammed shut by James Black with a bang, clearly showing how much he disliked Peter Gingery.
As soon as Peter Gingery left, James Black's mood brightened a bit. He sat down next to Jane Sampson, directly picked her up, and placed her on his lap.
"Are you tired? Do you want to take a lunch break?" James Black wasn't sure if Jane Sampson had returned early in the morning or had already come back yesterday, so he asked her first.
"Sleep for a while." Jane Sampson was indeed a bit sleepy.
Last night it was very late when she arrived. In the morning, she went to the hospital for an examination, got up very early, spent the whole morning running outside, and didn't have a lunch break. After packing her luggage, she drove for more than an hour to James Black's base.
