In the blink of an eye, peaches will soon be ready to eat again.
Jane Sampson turned her head to look at James Black, who was carrying her luggage behind her, and the corner of her mouth gently curved into a smile.
This time last year, she was still engaged in a battle of wits with James Black, but now she wasn't intimidated by him at all.
"Is everyone just hanging around here because they have nothing to do?" James hadn't even had enough time to chat with Jane, but this group of people eagerly surrounded her as soon as she arrived, keeping her completely boxed in.
"If you all really have nothing to do, I can find something for you," James gestured to the side, indicating for everyone to make way and not block him from reaching Jane.
"Chief, we're not actually that idle. We just heard that sister-in-law is at the base, so we specially came over to greet her and catch up for a chat. Now that we've spoken, we're off to get busy again."
