"Bian!"
Han Yan yelled in shock, then hurriedly evaded an attack from Executioner Black.
"You weren't this good before, I can't believe there's someone who can not only keep up with me, but drain my energy reserves in the process."
Ouyang Ming didn't seem to be in a rush, but he secretly panicked. He was trying to figure out a way to break the Immortal Chasing Phantom.
Han Yan looked at her bloodied shoulder, a result of a slight moment of negligence, then she turned back to the beam of blue light that eviscerated two planets and blew up a star in the far distance.
That attack was unlike anything she had seen before.
...
Although the planet Executioner Red was on had not been hit by the Prominence Burn, it was still affected by the heat.
Most of the surface had turned to rivers of flowing magma.
"I'm sure that was a direct hit, he had no way of surviving that."
Executioner Red was panting slightly, Prominence Burn was his ultimate move, one he couldn't use so casually unless he overclocked his abilities.
The smoke in front of him cleared, he looked intently, seeing...
Himself?
No, it was a mirror!
...
[Super Solum Mirror]
[Retaliation: MAX]
"Prominence Burn was the name? Right back at you!"
The surface of the mirror shone brighter than the noonday sun. A pure white incandescent rectangular beam of light struck the face of Executioner White.
Unlike Prominence Burn which burned everything around, Retaliation was a smaller and far more concentrated attack.
Still firing, the Solum Mirror pitched downwards, covering Executioner Red's entire body and splitting the planet in half.
'That covered him wholly, but he isn't dead, there would have been a scene if he had died.'
"Haa!"
A geyser of fire erupted, soaring high above the planet and into space.
Executioner Red didn't look hurt, in fact, the fire around him had taken on a brighter hue.
'Fire and energy-based attacks don't even leave a scratch, contrariwise they make him stronger.'
[Super Geno Points +1]
The announcements for his increasing geno points were still ringing in his ears, Bian brought up his status.
[Geno Points Acquired: 100 Ordinary Geno Points; 100 Primitive Geno Points; 100 Mutant Geno Points; 100 Sacred Geno Points; 31 Super Geno Points.]
He summoned Tyrant, and said in a low voice, "Go! Help Han Yan deal with Executioner Black!"
Steam rushed out of the Minotaur's nose. He gave a nod and jumped into space.
"Where's your friend going? I thought you summoned him to help you out!"
Executioner Red said with a grin. From a spark, thousands of fireballs which looked like miniature suns filled up the sky.
"He's going to help my partner, Executioner Black is about to get a whole lot stronger."
Executioner Red paused, his clenched fist was shaking as veins popped on his head.
"Oh, and why is that?"
Bian smirked and stanced himself closer to the ground.
"I mean, you Executioners absorb the powers of your fallen comrades after all."
"YOU DARE!"
The sky full of fiery suns released their malevolent sunshine.
Dense sunbeams filled the space like a 3D disco party.
[Super Geno Points: 40]
"You're done!"
Boom!
Bian disappeared, swerving left and right as he crossed from the first half of the planet to the second half.
"He's even faster than before."
With his super geno points ever increasing, Bian was getting exponentially stronger.
The planet was slowly being reduced by the scorching suns, but the sunlight felt like a light tan to the current Bian, even without any armor on.
In an instant, he was already before Executioner Red.
"Super Spank!"
His palm went through the Executioner's face, destroying its fundamental makeup.
Unfortunately, Executioner Red was like fire, breaking his sequence chain once wasn't enough for him to crumble like a card of dominoes.
But that was okay.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"DIE!"
Bian's upper body phased left and right, his palms moving like a shadow to different parts of Executioner Red's body.
Face, chest, shoulder, arms. Each place hit was utterly disintegrated. Without the Perpetuity Halo, Bian was sure he would die once all his sequence structure was broken.
An indigo hue erupted from Bian extending as far as the eye could see and covering multiple galaxies.
It was the first time Bian unleashed the Emperical Aura in the alliance, its range was shocking to say the least.
...
"The indigo light of true death."
Executioner Black knew Executioner Red was in trouble now. He had a big smile on his face.
He would finally be the only Executioner left. But, there was a warning that if another Executioner died, that figure would do something drastic.
"I have to kill Bian immediately after Executioner Red dies. With the complete inheritance, there will be a qualitative change. It won't matter how strong Bian is, he will surely die."
Shuang!
A blade of light flashed, drawing a thin red line across his neck.
"I will admit it. You've proved yourself annoying, I can't harm you, but you don't have what it takes to kill me."
"Is that what you think?"
Han Yan wiped the blood off her blade, she was refining her move with every passing moment.
She looked towards the source of the indigo hue with a solemn gaze.
...
Executioner Red wanted to run, but he couldn't escape Bian's unrelenting barrage. All the suns shot down rays on both of them, but Bian ignored the attacks.
The upper half of his body was utterly gone, once the lower half was destroyed too, he would be dead.
"In the end, I win."
Bian ignored the solar attacks, most of which bounced off his jade body. He was determined to end Executioner Red in this exchange.
Executioner Red had already lost his upper half, by reasonable standards, he shouldn't be able to speak. Yet Bian heard his voice clearly.
"OVERCLOCK!"
BANG!
Arghh!
A blood-curdling scream echoed.
Executioner Red who only had a lower torso and legs suddenly exploded into a deep, dark sea of blood-red fire.
As Bian's palm entered that fire, his entire forearm began to melt at astonishing speed.
He couldn't help but cry out in pain and retreat.
The red sea of fire wasn't so keen on letting him go. It rushed at him like an ocean wave.
Han Yufei teleported beside Bian, placed his hand on his shoulder and teleported both of them away.
"Ah, that's hot!"
The old man cried out. He had not gotten close to the red fire at all, and he was only there for a fraction of a second, yet he had severe burns around his body.
Even Geno armor couldn't completely protect him from the heat emitted by that red fire.
[Super Geno Points +1]
[Super Geno Points +1]
Bian's fitness had not stopped increasing, the horrendous injury on his arm was slowly healing with his rising physique.
His super geno points had passed 60 and were still rising, they would rise till they reached a hundred.
Actually, from when he swallowed the pill till now, it was barely a minute. Their clashes were too fast, not giving Bian enough time to max out his super geno points.
Luckily the body pillar was active, if not, Bian would be considered lucky if he only lost his arm to that wretched fire.
His eyes darted left and right, different thoughts flashed through his mind in an instant.
"Old man Han, I'll need your help to get to the nearest teleporter on my signal."
Han Yufei was confused, but he agreed and teleported away.
Bian meanwhile looked at the red sea of fire that rushed through space towards him.
"Overclock, is it? You're powerful now, but what happens when the clock runs out?"
Bian brought up his arm which was in the process of healing, white smoke rose out of it and the arm was restored.
"I am only getting stronger, but you're going to die once time is up."
"Anomaly!!"
A furious voice echoed through space. Fiery suns flew like starlight, but Bian dodged each one.
He made sure to keep his distance from the red fire, waiting for his overclock to enter a timeout state.
[Super Geno Points: 82]
The red flame dimmed, try as he might, he couldn't keep up with Bian.
Then the red fire started to swirl, getting more and more concentrated.
"Another Prominence Burn?"
Bian's expression turned grim.
