Chapter 224 - End of the Line

Bian brought out the Solum Mirror again. Prominence Burn was just like Retaliation, it moved at light speed.

If he tried to dodge it, he could lose a body part or two.

'Big mistake.'

The red sea of fire coalesced into a ball, and a pillar of red light catapulted towards Bian at light speed.

The Solum Mirror could absorb energy-based attacks, however, this Prominence Burn wasn't energy-based; it was an actual person.

It would go through the mirror like a hot knife through butter. Executioner Red was sure of that, he didn't care if Bian knew it too or not because it was way too late to dodge.

In Bian's perception, time seemed to slow down. The Soul Pillar was operating at maximum capacity.

The Solum Mirror slowly made way, revealing a purple cauldron.

The pillar of red light burnt through space itself; it appeared before the cauldron in an instant.

Like smoke into a vacuum cleaner, Prominence Burn was swallowed whole by the cauldron.

"Old man Han!"

Bian yelled!

Han Yufei teleported to his side and began rapidly jumping them towards the nearest teleporter as fast as he could.

Bian brought up his counter and checked where his super geno points had reached.

[Super Geno Points: 88]

With the old man going above and beyond, they reached a teleporter, and Bian immediately jumped in before Han Yufei could ask what his plan was.

[Super Geno Points: 91]

Entering the sanctuaries again, Bian didn't feel a suppression; no, it was straight-up repulsion. The fact that he brought Executioner Red in through his soul sea made it all the worse.

The sky turned as dark as ink, a mysterious carved door, which seemed to be made of a weird metal, appeared in the sky. Bian flew towards the indigo door in the sky and struck it with all his might.

Blergh!

Blood escaped from his eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. A searing pain, unlike anything he had ever felt before, assaulted him.

Bian looked within his sea of soul. The purple cauldron had fine cracks everywhere, and although the blood-red fire didn't seep out, the heat alone was enough to burn his soul sea.

He had to bring out the cauldron, or else he would die before even touching the door.

[Super Geno Points: 95]

Bian ran every power he could muster at maximum potential. Firing on all cylinders and yelling, he pushed the door.

[Super Geno Points: 96]

The rejection of the world was too great, it wanted to crush him entirely. Executioner Red had evolved past a demigod, and yet here he was in the fourth sanctuary. The repercussions were thrown on Bian, as it was his cauldron that hosted him.

[Super Geno Points: 97]

The purple cauldron began to melt; the cracks around it spread at a scary speed. When Executioner Red found out that he couldn't escape from the open surface, he found attacking the walls of the cauldron to be more effective.

[Super Geno Points: 98]

"ARGHHHH!"

Bian yelled with all his might, his powers were running wildly, going over the limit. His eyes turned bloodshot, his veins exploded as he ran all his powers at once, everything clashing and flowing through his body, focused on that single door.

[Super Geno Points: 99]

Just as the door went ajar, he heard a loud bang!

The cauldron exploded, revealing the blood-red fire capable of burning the sky and boiling the sea.

Yet at the same time, the pressure on Bian dropped. With Executioner Red now free and bearing his own burden, all the power Bian was forcing towards the door suddenly multiplied.

So in the instant the cauldron exploded, the door flung open, emitting an overwhelming suction force.

"No, no, no!"

Bian, the shattered pieces of the cauldron, and the red fire were swallowed by that suction force. Neither time skip nor space teleportation could help Executioner Red escape, the rules in operation were much higher than him.

[Geno Points Acquired: 100 Ordinary Geno Points; 100 Primitive Geno Points; 100 Mutant Geno Points; 100 Sacred Geno Points; 100 Super Geno Points]

Bian was completely exhausted. The power flowing around them entered into his body and soul, breaking down his Solum Mirror and the shattered pieces of the Super Cauldron before remaking his body with it.

Bian couldn't help but smile as he saw the slow grinding of Executioner Red. Their powers were too incompatible.

Even Han Sen almost died this way if not for Bao'er, but Executioner Red had no one to save him.

Bian felt something wrong happening in his body; he was already half-baked because he had fused with the Altering Brush. His lifespan was also slowly draining, and a good portion of the cauldron had been melted away by Executioner Red.

In other words. His entire system was a huge mess.

The powers flowed into his innermost parts. Bian felt the Three Inner Pillars leaving him, or rather being used to remake his body. He instinctively knew he wouldn't be able to call on them as he always did.

[Super Body is Evolving.]

...

"We can't do anything in this battle but die like pigs."

An old man wearing geno armor yelled in anger.

Up there in space, two figures moved past light speed, dashing from planet to planet and star to star.

Executioner Black was finding it hard to harm Han Yan and impossible to break her technique. Han Yan also had no way of dealing the Executioner any fatal blow. Their battle seemed like it would remain in a stalemate for days before one side was exhausted.

Han Yan might seem like she had the advantage there since the energy for Immortal Chasing Phantom came from Executioner Black, but that wasn't necessarily true.

By virtue of the technique, Immortal Chasing Phantom could only perform quantum entanglement with one target at a time.

Executioner Black had used this to his advantage many times, releasing different ranged attacks that travelled at different speeds.

If Han Yan was caught lacking, even a moment, it could be fatal.

"How much longer can you dodge? It only takes one mistake to die, you know." Ouyang Ming said while licking his sharpened nails stained with blood.

"Check your forehead, you're perspiring."

Although he acted strong, even he couldn't sustain the energy requirements for moving so fast, especially not for two people. If not for having gained Executioner White's healing powers, he would already be dead.

"Hmph!"

Executioner Black made a claw shape, Han Yan brandished her blade, but then both of them turned to gaze at a certain empty piece of space.

Han Yan could feel a strong disturbance, while Executioner Black, with his golden vertical pupils, could discern things more clearly.

"A demigod is evolving? Could it be..."

Bam!

A body was flung out, and a bright light erupted. It took form and turned bright red, with four equal columns circling the main pillar of red. The four equal pillars were blue, green, white, and yellow.

The beautiful polychromatic pillar went straight for Ouyang Ming, who accepted it with open arms.

'Oh no, with all the powers of all executioners and Bian having just evolved, he will be unstoppable.'

Han Yan thought this, but she wasn't ready to give up. If need be, she still had forbidden moves she could pull off. All the creatures Executioner Black had killed, all the people too, she could make him answer for all their blood, but exercising such power would be costly. Losing her life would be a favorable outcome. If she wasn't careful, her powers could backfire and harm those close to her—her spouse, her relatives, her friends, her son.

[Super Body is Evolving..]

The announcement rang in his head for the second time.

Bian didn't feel good at all. Way too many things were wrong with his evolution. Now his lifespan was stable again, but his body was too full of energy.

He was like a dam that was about to overflow. The power was being used to evolve his super body, but it was way too much. From the way things were going, he would still have nine-tenths of the total amount left after the evolution.

Bian, Han Yan, Tyrant, Han Yufei, everyone watched as the pillar struck Executioner Black. Han Yan, who was closest to him, was blown away by the energy fluctuation.

"Its way too powerful, the sanctuaries will never allow him to be." An old man with crystal shoes and fire wings, who was the actual leader of the New World Organization, watched with grim eyes.

Ouyang Ming was grinning from ear to ear. A perpetuity Halo formed around him, fire burned in his eyes, space and time shifted at his beck and call, albeit weakly.

He was now stronger than anything the alliance had ever seen before.

"Kneel or die!"

Right now, he was a god. Everyone there was basically still alive because he wanted them alive. He turned to Bian and said with a huge smile, "Not you though, good friend, you can just die—"

Executioner Black paused, the smile on his face vanished. He held his stomach, and his face contorted to a grimace.

"Ah."

A look of realization appeared in his eyes, and then...

Bang!

A weird power burst out of him, cracking the surrounding space like glass.

"Oh no, a door has opened to the outside."

"Executioner Black was already bad enough, but those creatures from the outside can destroy the entire alliance in a single hit."

The members of the New World Organization panicked, especially the true leader, who was a crystallizer and knew the terror of those things from the outside.

That was how the crystallisers were wiped out.

[Super Body is Evolving...]

Bian felt his body had entered the final stretch of evolution, but he doubted that would make much of a difference.

His mind spun, desperately seeking out a solution, then he heard a calm voice speaking.

"Well"

The silhouette of a humanoid figure appeared beyond the crack.

The person spoke in an unknown language. They didn't raise their voice, yet they could be heard clearly and their words understood completely.

"Aren't you the persistent type?"

The voice said with amusement.

Then, with a hand gesture, a weird square cube came before Bian in an instant.

'It is too fast, I can't dodge!'

His brain barely had enough time to register he had been targeted.

[Rook has used skill: Castling]

Bian, who was about to be hit, suddenly found himself looking at Tyrant being captured by the weird square.

"Hmph!"

The figure beyond the crack was angered that Bian had avoided capture. He extended his arm, sending a ripple outward. Wherever the ripple passed, planets, stars, and entire galaxies were reduced to nothing.

[Super Body has evolved]

Time stopped.

Bian saw the ripple, which was about a meter away from him, suddenly pause. The mysterious figure, the shining stars, everything and everyone stopped moving.

'No, time isn't paused, but it's moving so slowly that it might as well be frozen.'

He didn't have the three inner pillars again, but what he was witnessing right now was greater than what the inner pillars could ever do.

'My body, it's transparent!'

Bian's body had turned to stained glass. He couldn't see his organs and veins, but he could see what was on the other side of his body. And of course, the color of his current body was indigo.

He looked like a glass man, but Bian had never felt more whole, more complete, more atomic in his entire life.

[Status]

[Bian Manwei: Emperical Body]

[Lifespan: 597]

'This Emperical Body is insane. Even the figure from the outside looks frozen.'

Bian was very impressed with his constitution. It seemed the entire inner pillars had been incorporated into his new super body. All the time he spent inspecting himself didn't amount to anything.

'I feel strangely empty though. How can I feel complete and hollow at the same time? No, now is not the time for pondering.'

All this while, Bian had been in one place. He knew once he moved, his perception wouldn't be as optimized as it was now.

'I need to get away from the attack.'

As Bian took a step to move away, his perception of frozen time shattered. All he saw was blurry, blending streaks in his vision.

...

As the figure waved his hand, the ripple spread out at astonishing speed, covering billions of kilometers in mere seconds.

Just before it reached Bian though, his body lit up and erupted into a streak of indigo light.

Moving in a straight line, the light broke through the space of alliance with sheer momentum, disappearing into the Great Geneverse.
