Chapter Two
Sofia Hamilton followed Ryan Gregory downstairs. As they reached the stairway, Ryan took Little Bean into his arms. Lydia Mitchell, even happier than before, approached them. "Come here, let Grandma hold you."
Little Bean seemed to understand but was slightly reluctant to leave Daddy's arms, waving her tiny pink fists and making noises that nobody could quite decipher.
Lydia couldn't resist touching Little Bean's cheek. "Our Little Bean is getting prettier by the day."
"Here, I'll hold her while you and Sofia go check if they've arrived."
Ryan cautiously handed the child over to her. Sofia smiled and, hearing some commotion outside, stepped away. It wasn't Aurelia Wood getting out of the car, but her sister Sandra Hamilton.
She was carrying a pile of stuff. "Sofia, I bought you a lot of things you need. Don't think it's troublesome and skip them. Many of these nutrition supplements are necessary."
