Chapter 20
As soon as Kevin Gregory's mother left, he pulled Silvia over to the sofa, sat her on his lap, and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Let me see if I can hear our baby talking."
As he spoke, he placed his ear against her belly, listening intently as if he could really hear something. Then he laughed and said, "She's saying, 'Daddy, Mommy, I want to come out.'"
Aurelia Wood was amused by him. "You're silly, there's no way you can hear anything now."
"I have telepathy with my daughter. I know what she's thinking."
"So what is she saying?"
"She says that Mommy can now rightfully stay with this family, and she's glad Grandma accepts her Mommy. Also, she's hungry and thinks Mommy might be too skinny. She needs to eat more to gain some weight."
Aurelia smiled, a warm feeling spreading in her heart. "Why is she only talking about me? Didn't she say anything about you?"
