Fiona Sutton's mouth twitched. Had she said something wrong?
"Nia Mitchell, you don't understand," Fiona said. "With some people, if you're always overly polite, they just won't take you seriously at all. Many things can't be resolved with a good temper. If I hadn't been so decisive earlier, the manager would probably still be stalling here."
She paused, then added, "I have a strong feeling that the manager won't be able to stop that man outside. You should prepare yourself."
Nia Mitchell was startled.
Prepare herself? For what?
She blinked and looked at Fiona Sutton with a puzzled expression.
Fiona Sutton sighed. Was Nia really this naive?
"Of course, prepare to deal with that man," Fiona explained. "If he came because of Young Master Peary's reputation, he's either trying to form a connection or is relying on his existing status."
She continued, "The chances of him just relying on his status are slim; he's most likely here to build connections."
