Kris Cooper wrapped his arms around her, patting her back comfortingly.
"Stop crying, or else you'll get wrinkles!"
"If I get wrinkles, it will be because of you!"
Bailey Hansen scolded him tearfully. After a while, she managed to control her emotions and let go of her son.
Seeing his father, Christoper Cooper, nearby, Kris Cooper walked over and put his arms around his father's shoulders.
"Dad, I made you worry."
With a gentle pat on Kris's back, Christoper Cooper took the computer bag from his hand. "Let's go."
Christoper Cooper greeted Lucille Matthias and Sophia Thompson. The staff brought his watch, phone, and other personal belongings that had been taken away earlier. Then, they all exited through the front door together.
Not seeing Vera, Kris Cooper looked around in confusion.
"Where's Vera?"
Christoper Cooper spoke softly, "She couldn't make it. We'll talk about it when we get home."
