Standing there, the monster seemed tattered as if it had been run over by a truck.
The dripping blood from its spider leg and the line carved through its chest almost felt like a dream. But it wasn't, the pain ensured the monster knew that.

There was no doubt, it would get serious now.
But, what did that matter to Camilla?
As the dust clouds surrounding the monsters vision cleared, her figure was nowhere to be seen.
Where was she?
Of course, she was hiding in a small passage she had glanced by chance when the monster's vision was covered by the gathered dust.
The plan was simple, stay here until Nagisa came.
As for continuing the fight? Impossible.
Let's not mention the fact that the monster was now completely enraged and would no doubt fight with all its might, even when her stats were boosted and she gave her all in the last attack the monster's sturdy defense prevented her from cutting deep in its flesh.
And it was only by targeting the joints of the spider leg that she even bypassed its sturdy defense and cut off a leg.
Now that the earlier feeling had vanished and her strength returned, she didn't even know whether she could stumble on that feeling ever again in her life.

The passage was too small for the monster, especially with its four spider legs to enter and though the entry was small inside was large enough for her to stay for some time before rescue came.
She decided to just conceal her presence as much as she could and stay here obediently.
This was one of the strongest monsters Camilla had faced alone and even when it didn't take her seriously, all she could do was cut off a spider leg and give it a shallow wound on the chest.
Considering her low level, this was indeed a feat but she shouldn't get overconfident.
Not just in mana, but in speed and power the spider outclassed her. The reason she even managed to avoid and react to most of its attacks was due to having underwent training from Nagisa.
Anyways, she was both confused and terrified.
What was with that thing? Not even a boss monster yet still so powerful?
At this rate, before even facing the boss she would be more tattered than an old rag, too exhausted to face the true boss.
But what could she do when she couldn't defeat the opponent?
Better to hide and recover while she could.
She was curious what was taking that bastard Nagisa so long. An hours' time had long passed by yet he hadn't even showed his shadow.
Come to think of it, when she recalled his shifty eyes at the moment she couldn't help but recall that hero that strayed from the party for treasure and ended up dying.

This meant she could use normal heal at least 50 times or more. And normal heal was more than enough for her current body as long as she stacked the normal healing spells.

So a normal heal was almost half as effective as an intermediate healing spell on her.
It wasn't just that. Nagisa had remodeled her body so human like she could even conceive children if she wished.
She didn't want to admit it, but-

Meanwhile, out in the huge space violent shaking shook the dungeon.
Camilla could hear the sounds of the ground shattering and pillars crashing to the ground.
Plumes of dust would even slither into the small passage from time to time, if she were a normal human she would have coughed and been caught.

And to think she had really thought about confronting that monstrosity, luckily she barely prevailed and escaped.
At least as a consolation her skills slightly improved, still she didn't even want to think about fighting that monster again.
The sounds of destruction continued for a while until there was a deep silence.

Camilla placed her ear to the wall and pouring mana into her hearing tried to listen to what was happening.

Along with the loud shriek, a mouthful of blood spurted uncontrollably from her mouth and tears of blood ran down the corners of her eyes and ears.

Camilla tried to calm her nerves and focus on healing whatever wounds had just been inflicted on herself.

Camilla slowly got up.
She was careless, and judging by its aura the monster had yet to calm down.

Since there was no other choice.
Her eyes glared at the monster and her own aura rose colliding with the monster.
As both parties stood facing each other, a silence ensued.
Just as it seemed to be the best time to act, Camilla tapped her feet-
