After spacing out for a bit, Mei Mengchen quickly recalled what had happened just now and asked, "Sis, did we sell any vegetables? Are the veggies sold?"
Before Mei Mengzhen could answer, the lady chimed in, "Sell what? Your sister's prices are so high, who would buy them? She's nuts, honestly."
Mei Mengchen had fallen asleep and had no clue who this talkative lady was. He glanced at the lady across the way, then looked at Mei Mengzhen.
Mei Mengzhen comforted him, "We've only been here a little while, you haven't even napped long. No people means no sales, but soon folks will come, it'll be fine."
The lady wouldn't give up, thinking this kid was dreaming too big about the market, "Kiddo, I'm not exaggerating here, your veggies are really too expensive."
