Liang Xiao finally finished after three exhausting days, narrowing down the hundreds to just thirty people.
Out of these thirty, none of them matched Mei Mengzhen's build, face shape, or vibe.
Liang Xiao was totally wiped out from sitting here for days—honestly, even hitting ten thousand words a day in her novel felt easier.
Just when she was about to call it quits, Mei Mengzhen, He Yiran, and Yan Keke showed up at the back door of the classroom.
Liang Xiao's mind was wandering, eyes darting everywhere, and sure enough she spotted the group coming to check out the scene.
Liang Xiao grinned and waved, but this little gesture was noticed by the casting director sitting next to her.
The casting director turned around and, wow, the girl was basically the dream candidate for the Mei Mengzhen role.
