-------------------------------------------------

Three weeks passed...

In that short span,

The world had changed beyond recognition.

As the muggles learned of the existence of wizards,

They also came to see that the world was far larger —

And far darker —

Than they had ever imagined.

Monsters once just a joke or horrer story,

Yokai who had unseen for centuries, and magical creatures of legend now stood before them, fighting to restore order the peace.

The governments of men —

Powerless without their modern weapons —

Collapsed one after another.

In their place, the Ministries of Magic stepped forward, taking control of nations and rebuilding society under new laws of balance and secrecy has been broken completely.

But not all were willing to change.

Across continents, officials from various ministries who had once refused to shelter muggle-borns or accept muggle families during the great crisis found themselves overthrown by rebel wizards.

These rebels —

Backed by the Continental's influence and resources —

Dismantled the old order.

By the end of the third week...

Those fallen ministries had been absorbed under the Continental's authority.

The rest, still standing, began to bend under the unrelenting persuasion of Gellert Grindelwald, Albus Dumbledore, Nicolas Flamel, and Minister Jenkins —

Each playing their part in forging a fragile new alliance for a world reborn under the rule of magic.

Morningstar mansion...

The sun had barely risen, its pale rays spilling through the sheer curtains of the Morningstar mansion.

Leo lay quietly in bed —

His body half-buried under a tangle of soft sheets and warm skin.

Narcissa rested peacefully on his right, her fingers loosely curled around his wrist.

On his left,

Andymora's silver hair brushed his shoulder as she slept soundly,

While Bella lay sprawled across his chest, her breathing slow and steady.

It was calm… the kind of calm only earned after chaos.

As their warmth pressed against him,

Leo's crimson eyes were fixed on the translucent blue interface hovering above him.

One by one, notifications began pouring down like rain

Twitch~

'Still haven't got a phoenix yet… then why system is showing the task was compleated.'

He thought, tapping the air with his finger as he stored the pending rewards into his inventory.

His thoughts briefly drifting.

'Finally those long term missions were completed. System show me my status...'

His gaze shifted as the faint shimmer of his status panel appeared:

He exhaled slowly.

Sigh~

Everything looked stable… for now.

After carefully sliding out from under the tangle of limbs and soft breathing,

Leo padded quietly across the room.

The floorboards gave a faint creak as he entered the restroom.

A splash of cold water, a brief flicker of electric magic to dry off,

And a long exhale later —

He felt the familiar sharpness return to his crimson eyes.

The war outside might have calmed, but his mind hadn't.

Freshly dressed in a dark-collared shirt and loose slacks,

Leo descended the grand staircase of the Morningstar mansion —

Only to stop halfway down.

The place was… empty.

No sounds of chatter,

No movement from the maids or guards.

Even Valac's usual shadowy presence seemed absent.

He frowned lightly.

Frown~

'Strange.'

Maybe everyone was resting.

Or maybe the women had gone back to the Diagon Alley.

Either way, his stomach gave a soft growl —

A reminder that he'd barely eaten yesterday.

"Guess I'll make something simple,"

He muttered, turning toward the kitchen.

But the moment he stepped through the doorway—

"SURPRISE!"

The air erupted with a rain of confetti and the sharp pop of party crackers.

POP... POP...

"____"

Leo blinked, momentarily frozen as colorful ribbons drifted down from the ceiling.

Before him stood what could only be described as a chaotic alliance of elegance and madness.

Kejoro grinning behind her silk fan,

Setsura giving a soft chuckle beside Hagoromo Gitsune,

Lily waving a wand that fired off sparkles into the air,

And Delphini looking proud of herself for organizing the chaos.

And at the center of it all —

Dracula and his wife Martha, their daughter Mavis standing beside them, cheeks faintly pink.

"____"

Darcy was clutching her husband Jonathan's arm,

Both beaming like children at Christmas.

Leo stared for a long second, then let out a small breath of disbelief.

"A… surprise party? Really? Why?"

Hearing Leo's genuinely puzzled question —

"What do you mean, surprise?"

— Dracula and Martha exchanged a knowing grin that stretched from ear to ear.

"____"

"____"

Grin~

"Oh, you'll see,"

Martha said mischievously, glancing at Mavis.

The young vampire girl stood frozen for a moment, her cheeks blooming red looking at her husband.

She lowered her head shyly, fidgeting with her fingers.

"____"

Martha stepped behind her and gently placed her hands on Mavis's shoulders.

"Go on, sweetheart,"

Martha whispered with a soft push.

Mavis took a hesitant step forward,

Her violet eyes shimmering with nervous excitement.

Leo tilted his head slightly,

His confusion deepening —

Until Mavis reached out, took his hand, and slowly guided it to her stomach.

For a heartbeat, there was silence.

"____"

"____"

"____"

Then Leo blinked —

Blink~ Blink~

Once, twice —

And his crimson eyes widened as the realization hit him like a lightning bolt.

"Mavis…?"

His voice trembled.

Her lips curled into a bright, bashful smile.

"Yes, Leo,"

She said softly, her voice barely above a whisper as she leaned close to his ear.

"I'm pregnant, honey."

For a moment, Leo just stared —

Utterly speechless.

And then…

A brilliant grin spread across his face,

Grin~

The kind of pure, unrestrained joy he rarely showed anyone.

His eyes glowed faintly, not with power this time, but emotion.

AH... HA HA HA HA HA HA....

"I—I'm going to be a father!"

He shouted, his voice echoing through the mansion.

Before anyone could react,

He swept Mavis into his arms and spun her around, l

Laughing like a man who'd just been given the greatest gift in the world.

"I'm going to be a father!"

He repeated, louder this time,

As confetti continued to fall and everyone around clapped, cheered, and laughed.

Dracula wiped an invisible tear with exaggerated dramatics.

"My little girl… all grown up,"

He said proudly.

Martha leaned on his shoulder, smiling softly.

"She'd always be our little Mavi."

And in the center of it all,

Leo held Mavis close —

His forehead resting against hers —

Whispering quietly,

"Thank you, Mavis. You've given me something no victory ever could."

The celebration swelled into something wildly improper and utterly joyful.

Long tables groaned under platters of exotic food;

Yokai from Nurarihyon no Mago traded stories with wizards, witches and veela over goblets of glittering wine.

Laughter rolled through the halls, and somewhere a tengu and a griffin argued about the best way to fold napkins.

Vald and Nurarihyon—

New, unlikely buddies—

Sat shoulder to shoulder, comparing battle scars like old veterans.

Mavis beamed from Leo's side, small and luminous,

While guests danced beneath lanterns that shimmered between realities.

It felt for a few tender hours as if the world had righted itself —

Or at least pretended to.

Meanwhile, trouble of the domestic sort brewed in the library.

Jonathan —

Nervy, a little too curious, and hopelessly human in the face of vampire dignity —

Had tiptoed into the stacks with his father-in-law in tow.

Dracula had a guilty habit...

Whenever he wanted a quiet escape, he vanished into the library and indulged in a "forbidden" little pleasure —

The godly manga volume he'd discovered last month.

Tonight, Jonathan found him hunched under a reading lamp, cheeks flushed from the scandalous plot.

With his eyes nearly sticking to the manga.

The two of them crept in, whispering like conspirators…

Until Martha, who'd been looking for a place to hide a particularly extravagant cake,

Rounded the corner and caught them both red-handed.

There was a beat of stunned silence.

"____"

"____"

"____"

Martha's eyes went narrow with theatrical fury.

"Dracula!"

She exclaimed, hands on hips, the kind of glare that could unmake empires.

"Honestly. In the library?"

Darcy, who had followed and seen only the last frame of the scene —

Her father-with-manga and Jonathan looking foolish —

Stepped forward.

Her face was stone-cold, eyes flashing with a mockingly lethal calm.

"I will kill you,"

She said in a deadpan whisper that made Jonathan's blood run cold.

Jonathan let out a nervous, high-pitched chuckle that came out all wrong.

Chuckle~

He glanced around for escape routes,

Then executed the only dignified escape available.

He turned on his heel and ran, abandon and all,

The sound of his fleeing footsteps punctuated by the suppressed snorts of the other guests who had overheard.

Dracula gave Jonathan an exaggerated, theatrical bow as the human bolted past —

Then turned to Martha with the most innocent expression he could muster.

"I was only… researching,"

He offered loftily.

"For… culture... to under Leo... Since he has many... many wives..."

Martha sighed, the sternness cracking into amusement.

Sigh~

Darcy stalked off afterward, clearly still plotting humorous revenge, leaving Jonathan to lurk in the doorway like a startled hare.

Back in the main hall, the music swelled and someone shouted for another round of fireworks that looked suspiciously like small auroras.

Leo, arms full of celebratory fatigue and love, watched it all and let out a breathless laugh —

The kind that felt like home.

Mavis squeezed his hand, their joy an island amid the wild, rebuilt world.
