[3rd POV]
Entering Kings Landing had not been difficult for the group of three at all. The security around the place was supremely lacking, and was next to useless. The Gold Cloaks were pretty much entirely fat old dudes who were constantly drunk, and spent most of their days at the whorehouse.
Thus, they just walked in without having to do anything for it. The gold cloaks didn't even glance their way, thanks to the notice me not charms that Lucifer had placed on them. Said notice me not charms did not make them invisible or anything, it just made it so that it was a bit harder to notice their beauty and such things.
Walking through the streets of Kings Landing, Alice could barely hide her disgust for the way the city was being treated, and the overall aesthetic of the place.
"This place is disgusting..." Alice muttered to herself, as Lucifer heard her and nodded in agreement.
"It is. The lack of hygiene is definitely going to bite the citizens of this place in the ass. If not that, then their sense of smell is going to be destroyed with how terrible it smells here" Lucifer responded, grunting at the smell. She had to expand her power a bit to cut off the scent of shit and piss.
She let out a sigh when the smell disappeared, before activating one of her domains over purification. This would slowly heal the surroundings of the smell and the waste, while also activating her domain over architecture, which would soon heal the various buildings around the area. The last one she had activated was her domains over creation, which was going to slowly but surely begin to build new pipes and sewage lines to deal with the offshoot, as well as the wells that she wanted to be created.
At the same time, the statues within the church of the seven were set to start glowing the moment these changes were put into place. As for now she was mass manipulating the entire city so that nobody would notice the rapid change in the surroundings until after she had left. That way they would then attribute it to an act of the Seven, which technically that is exactly what it was.
"How can it be allowed to get this bad?" Daenerys asked in slight horror as they walked past another group of homeless children. They were incredibly gaunt, and seemed to be starving.
Every child that they had walked past that were like that were promptly given a small blessing of luck, so that they would begin to find ways out of that current situation, and into something a lot more...nice. Like finding homes with kind parents, or something else that was similar.
"Because the current King is an incredibly foolish man that cares little for the lives of the smallfolk, and for the greater Kingdom as a whole. He spends his days drinking and spending time with women. While the men that run the kingdom for him are either stupid and have no clue how to properly run it, or are greedy and are using his weakness to gain power for themselves at the expense of the regular citizens of the city" Lucifer explained, knowing that Daenerys was furious.
While her father was a bad, terrible man. Even he did not let the city devolve into what it was now. It was far far far nicer back then, didn't smell as bad, and there was not nearly as many homeless people. But now that Robert was in charge, it was a lot worse since he did not care.
Whereas Aerys actually did, as it was a matter of his own arrogance. It would have been a hit to his pride if the capital city of his Kingdom was a shithole. Whereas Robert could genuinely care less about the look of the city and what was happening inside of it.
It was born from the death of Lyanna, and the other incidents that had occurred during the Rebellion.
The best outcome would have been the death of Aerys, and Rhaegar taking control. But quite frankly, he was also not even remotely perfect. He was also arrogant, and was absorbed into the prophecies far far too much, which came at the expense of his children and the others around him, like his wife and the girl that he had all but manipulated into marrying him.
A war had started because of his belief in prophecy, and his incessant need for the "Dragon to have three heads" which would have been his son Aegon, his daughter Rhaenys, and his third son Daemon. The dragon with three heads.
That was not the real way it went, but he did not know that. For he was not the God of Fate and Destiny. Or the controller of prophecy and outcomes.
He was not Lucifer, who knew the truths behind the prophecies.
Said prophecies had indeed been real when she first came around. They were true to an extent, but they were largely misinterpreted and caused a lot of problems thanks to it.
But now that she had appeared in this world, the prophecies were null and void through her power. The Night King was not going to rise any longer, since she had used her power to deal with that part. It was not needed for balance or anything, as the world itself was already keeping the balance thanks to the constant war and death.
The lack of innovation was the reason the world was at such a well executed state of balance. Once innovation began, Lucifer would have to take a more hands on approach to keeping it in balance enough to not cause too many problems.
As worlds like the one they were in was heavily reliant on balance.
"So he is useless, is what you are saying" Daenerys bluntly responded, as the two adults glanced at one another.
"That...is the truth, yes" Lucifer replied with a sigh, not happy with it either.
"...I want to change it" Daenerys said after a few moments of silent walking.
"Change what, honey?" Alice asked, staring at the girl.
"I want to change the state of this place. I...I can't just stand by and watch all these people suffer, not when I am alive and have the power to do something about it. So, once I get old enough...I want to change it. I want to help them, to...I want to take this place back from him, from them" Daenerys said after a few moments, a serious glint in her eyes as she looked up at Alice and Lucifer who both looked to one another upon hearing this.
Slowly a smile appeared on each of their faces.
"We expected that, Daenerys. So once you get old enough - somewhere around the age of 18 - we'll give you aid in taking this place back" Alice said, staring at Daenerys with a warm smile on her face. She wasn't against the idea or anything, she would be hypocritical if she was.
Lucifer had done it billions of times over her life, and had gone to war more than anyone else in existence, so she could not be against it either. And she knew Daenerys enough to know that her own conscience would not let her sit by and watch this place devolve even further than it already had.
"R-Really?" Daenerys asked in shock, not expecting them to support her idea of going to war to regain the Seven Kingdoms.
"Of course honey. We'll always support you, as long as you let us at least. And Luci here has went to war many many many times, so we have no right to deny your desire. But we just ask that you wait until you are older, and understand more about what it is you are planning on doing" Alice responded with a warm smile on her face.
Hearing her response, Daenerys stopped walking and stared at the two of them. She had to fight back the urge to tear up, as she saw the warmth and love that Alice and Lucifer were looking at her with.
And inwardly, she realized more and more that these two women truly loved her, truly...cared for her.
And as she stared at them, she felt a warmth in her chest that she had not felt in so very long. And one thought appeared in her mind.
'Is-is this what having a family feels like?' Daenerys wondered, as they began to walk again, not uttering a word as a small smile formed on her face, and one last thought appeared as they walked further into Kings Landing.
'...If so...I like it'
