Chapter 4972 - Chapter 4033: MU: Super Body Major Incident (76)_2

The message was quickly sent to Asgard. To everyone's surprise, Thor's response was conservative. He said, "This is a power specialized for attack, meaning it's not a general energy like the divine power of the Aesir, but rather a power specifically used for attack, and it's also extremely adept at destruction and devastation. From its form of manifestation, it can perform pinpoint precise strikes across spaces, and if the output is sufficient, it can even shatter space directly. If I were to fight him, I wouldn't choose to withstand it with a divine power shield—the best way is to dodge. If I were to endure its full output just with my body and without any shields, it would likely cause severe damage to my body."

The atmosphere became even more tense. Even the Aesir couldn't withstand it, no wonder it scrapped two escort ships with one blow.

But at this moment, the atmosphere at the Apocalypse Star command center was even heavier than on Earth. Primary Universe Batman looked at Darkseid and said, "So, a 50% powered Omega Ray can't even penetrate the shields of their mass-produced ships; we need 75% power?!"

"Their shields are very special," Darkseid said, lightly tapping the armrest of his seat, "Obviously, this Earth's shield technology in this universe is very adept, I've never seen such powerful shields. These shields have a special ability—if the attack does not exceed a certain threshold, they are completely immune and don't even consume much energy. Therefore, we must increase the output and focus it on one point to destroy the shield and hull in one strike."

Primary Universe Batman understood what he meant. It's actually quite simple when put in gaming terms: other civilizations have shields that reduce damage, so a 100 attack only deals 60 damage; while the human race's shields are immune to damage below 100, so a 100 attack may cause 0 damage; but a 200 attack might still only deal 60% damage. So, the best method is to raise the attack to 800 and deplete the opponent's health bar in one go. That's exactly what Darkseid did.

However, obviously, Omega Power is not infinite, or although it can be replenished in the Apocalypse Domain, some must be reserved for defense; otherwise, if the enemy launches a full-scale assault, we can't rely solely on superheroes to fight off the ships, can we?

"How many of these ships do they have?" Main Universe Superman asked, "Maybe I can give it a try, but my laser output might not be enough and would only temporarily repel them instead of destroying them."

Primary Universe Batman was also pondering. It wasn't difficult to discern from the previous scenes that the escort ship squadron was a standard formation, proving that they couldn't just have a few ships, and being used as probing cannon fodder shows these ships weren't particularly valuable either, possibly old versions due for elimination. They likely have more advanced, larger, and stronger ships.

"Hal, what do you think?" Primary Universe Batman looked at Green Lantern and asked.

The Green Lanterns were all standing together; their discussion wasn't as heated as Batman or Superman's. And when asked, they all turned to look at one person: Hal Jordan, the Prince Jade of the universe where Bruce is from.

"This battle doesn't necessarily have to be fought with conventional interstellar warfare methods," Hal began, "The ships we simulate with green lantern energy might seem physical, but they can transform into green lantern energy at any time. So, all we need to do is disguise ourselves as ships, get close, and then detonate the green lantern energy for a suicide attack. While this may seem wasteful energy-wise, as long as it causes effective damage, it can deter the enemy."

Primary Universe Batman nodded, agreeing with this approach. Currently, there are two types of ships: one simulated with green lantern energy that mirrors normal ships but after probing, Primary Universe Batman understood these ships don't match the authentic fleet they face, so traditional combat methods can be abandoned.

The other kind is Apocalypse Star's ships, but Apocalypse Star isn't adept at interstellar warfare; they rely on large scales of demon-like armies for ground invasion battles, meaning someone else must clear the escort fleet for them to initiate landing operations.

"Green Lantern Fleet, prepare," Primary Universe Batman said, "They've sent three squads; we'll send five. Green Lanterns follow and cooperate, but be cautious, don't get too close, and if you detect any abnormal energy fluctuations, retreat immediately."

Hal nodded and selected a few Green Lanterns from behind, including ones from the Prime Universe and himself, approximately a dozen people, heading to the hangar to fetch ships.

These ships had already been prepared back home, brought through the teleportation portal, and their structure was very stable. Since they were fundamentally green lantern energy, operating from inside the ship wasn't complex, and they could maneuver like an extension of their body.

The makeup of the Green Lantern Fleet is simple, divided into main warships and secondary ships. Each main warship carries about 5 to 6 secondary ships, making a squad, and five squads have roughly over thirty ships.

Before coming, Hal had also organized training for them, and the results were quite promising. Their combat method differed significantly from that of Marvel: if Earth's central universe waged traditional interstellar battles, they were engaging in scaled-up ground warfare. Green Lanterns followed the fleet not for aerial combat, but akin to coordinated army operations on land.

This was remarkably difficult and even unimaginable because humans and ships have a vast size difference, rendering coordination seemingly impossible. Probably only a disciplined and organized superhero like Green Lantern, who has extensive experience in space battles, could execute such tactics with crafted ships.

So, when numerous people in the command headquarters on Central Universe Earth saw humans and ships flying out together, they were dumbfounded. However, those generals who had survived since World War II brightened up: "Tank battles, we're familiar with those!"

"Let Iron Man's mechanical army join the fray!" A general stood and shouted, "Set up trenches on the eastern front; we must block this tank unit 20 light years away!"

The Iron Men, anxiously waiting for orders at the outpost, rose to their feet with a swish. Central Universe's Stark quickly yelled, "Don't rush, calm down! Now, retrieve equipment based on warehouse item numbers. Jarvis will indicate target locations in your mecha. Set up the equipment and return immediately, avoid direct confrontation at all costs!"
