Chapter 765 - Chapter 765: Diana and Kara Attempt Fusion

"Buzz!"—As the mysterious dimension devoured the Dark Dimension, a ripple of disturbance coursed through the realm. This was a result of the Dark Dimension and its ruler, the Dark Lord, struggling to resist. However, Rolark's devastating attack had already inflicted severe damage. The Kamehameha wave, which had drastically shortened the duration of Rolark's fusion, was no ordinary move. It was powerful enough to earn a special name from Robert himself.

This finishing move wasn't something that could be easily withstood. Despite the Dark Lord using all his strength, both he and his entire dimension had been severely weakened by Rolark's attack.

The strength of a dimension could often be measured by its sheer size. For instance, the Wakanda gods' dimension, which was tied to Earth, was limited in scope, even smaller than the planet itself, and ranked as one of the lower-tier dimensions.

In contrast, a realm like Asgard was significantly larger but still only comparable to a planetary system.

However, the Dark Dimension was vast, even larger than the observable universe. But after Rolark's Kamehameha, it had shrunk considerably, its size reduced to that of a galaxy, making it vulnerable to being swallowed by the mysterious dimension that followed.

This new dimension was much larger than the Dark Dimension, even in its prime. The fact that it could devour the weakened Dark Dimension like a mere snack indicated its overwhelming size and strength.

The struggle from the Dark Lord and his realm didn't last long. It wasn't that the mysterious dimension had fully digested the Dark Dimension so quickly, but rather that the Dark Lord had no chance to recover. His fate was sealed—his dimension would be absorbed and become a part of this greater force.

"I didn't expect such a pleasant surprise. How delightful!" A voice of amusement echoed as the mysterious dimension settled down. Many dimensions had been watching the conflict between Earth and the Dark Dimension, but without a doubt, this mysterious realm had gained the most.

Only this dimension had tracked the path of the Kamehameha wave, following it directly to the Dark Dimension's hiding place. The other dimensions had long lost track.

It had been a close call for the Dark Lord. His ability to conceal his realm had almost saved him, but the relentless Kamehameha wave had followed him, offering no chance of escape. Ultimately, the mysterious dimension benefited from both the Dark Lord's cunning and Rolark's powerful attack.

Had the Dark Lord's evasion been less effective, more dimensions might have converged to claim the damaged Dark Dimension, which could have allowed him to slip away in the confusion. But there were no "what-ifs" now—the Dark Dimension's tale had come to an end.

"Earth's dimension is quite interesting. Another powerful figure has appeared. But is this being truly human? Can Earth even handle someone of that level?" The mysterious dimension's voice pondered as it turned its attention to Earth. But by then, Rolark had already returned to Earth's internal dimension, leaving the observer with nothing to see.

"I've invested a great deal in humanizing Tera and the others to bypass Earth's dimensional rules. I hoped they'd grow strong and influence the planet. But they've been sealed away multiple times, and now some have been completely destroyed," the voice continued musing.

"Their deaths coincide with the birth of Earth's consciousness. Could it be Earth's consciousness that destroyed them? Or perhaps that mysterious fighter I saw earlier? If it was him, wiping out Bart and the others wouldn't have been impossible."

"Damian has also disappeared without a trace. Who could have done this? And the one who secretly siphoned my power has died as well? Is everyone connected to my dimension doomed on Earth? Fascinating…"

Yes, the dimension that devoured the Dark Dimension was none other than the Dark Dimension's stronger sibling—the Shadow Dimension, the true source of power behind the Shadow Army. If not for the existence of this Shadow Dimension, the Dark Dimension could have claimed the title of "Darkness," perhaps even evolving into something perfect without its previous flaws.

However, no matter how powerful the Shadow Dimension was, it could not peer into the secrets of Earth's internal affairs. Even a greater realm like the Hell Dimension, one of the strongest across the multiverse, couldn't view the happenings on Earth from a distance.

So, despite its many questions, the Shadow Dimension had no answers. Just as it was about to leave, a faint, hidden connection linked it to Earth.

"Tera? He managed to transmit his consciousness? Interesting… an excellent plan," the voice of the Shadow Dimension remarked, intrigued. It soon engaged in communication with Tera.

What they discussed remained unknown, but after the Shadow Dimension vanished, a powerful presence began to form in a secret space on Earth. Tera, who had reassembled his body, grew stronger, his eyes gleaming with excitement as he gazed in a specific direction on the planet.

"It's nearly time! Darkness will soon descend. Even if Earth itself intervenes, it won't stop anything. Earth is just a small planet, insignificant in the grand scheme of the universe. When the whole cosmos falls into darkness, what hope does Earth have of surviving?" Tera's voice brimmed with confidence, though it echoed only within the hidden space.

"Boss, does that mean the good times are finally coming?" General Razo, General Kabo, and General Manny—three of the Shadow Army's commanders—were thrilled, looking eagerly at Tera.

"Indeed! The Master has bestowed me with power, not only restoring me to my peak but pushing me beyond it. Although I can't share this power with you yet, once the darkness comes, your strength will increase as well. When that time arrives, the entire universe will be our domain!" Tera nodded, smiling as he reassured the three generals.

"Finally! We've waited so long for this. All these years of hardship weren't in vain!" General Zora cheered, his face alight with joy.

"Uh, Boss, what about Ika? Are we just going to leave him out there?" General Nieman asked hesitantly, remembering the only surviving general who hadn't joined them yet.

It was true that the Shadow Army's operations on Earth had been plagued with setbacks. They had lost countless troops, but until recently, none of their generals had died. That all changed when Robert entered the picture, and one by one, the generals had fallen, their deaths permanent, even beyond the reach of the Shadow Dimension.

Neither Tera nor the other generals knew that it was Robert who had been killing them. Regardless, Tera had been terrified enough to abandon his original plans and hide in this small space, waiting for the danger to pass.

When nothing happened for a while, Tera finally gathered his courage, using his powers to summon the remaining generals to his hideout. But despite there being four masks left, only three were brought to him, as Ika had killed the demon sent to retrieve him.

Ika had always been a bit more cautious. While Tera and the others had no idea who was killing their comrades, Ika had his suspicions. After all, he had seen the Xenomorph mask taken away by the Avengers right before his eyes.

Although he didn't know what had happened to the mask, he was certain the Avengers were involved. Ika suspected he had been spared for a reason—to be used as bait.

With this in mind, Ika couldn't risk contacting Tera and the others. He valued his own life too much to potentially lead the Avengers to their hideout. If he did, the Shadow Army could be wiped out, and he would be branded a traitor.

However, Ika's concerns and strategies remained unknown to the others. Tera's expression darkened when Nieman brought him up, and with a cold glare, he snapped, "Don't mention that traitor! When the darkness descends and the Master reigns supreme, I will drag him before the Master and let him face justice!"

"But what if Ika had his reasons? Maybe he knows what killed Rezu and the others and is too scared to return?" Nieman's speculation was surprisingly close to the truth, but Tera wasn't in the mood to listen.

"I said no more talk of this. Whether he's innocent or not, the Master will decide his fate," Tera said sternly before heading deeper into the hidden space, leaving the three generals behind.

The three generals exchanged glances, remaining silent as they each processed their own thoughts. The small space soon fell into an eerie quiet.

Meanwhile, after Rolark left the battlefield and Earth's consciousness had finished its conversation with him, the Earth's dimensional entity acted swiftly. It kindly transported everyone back to their respective homes—whether to Kamar-Taj, the Avengers' base, or remote islands—without a single person ending up in the wrong place.

What's more, Earth's consciousness even used a bit of its energy to heal all the injured. Robert wouldn't have to run around mending wounds once he returned.

Clearly, Earth's consciousness had been intimidated by the fusion of Robert and Clark. In fact, if Robert and Clark's fusion—Rolark—had continued, it seemed possible that they could destroy the Earth's dimensional entity itself. At least, that's how the Earth's consciousness viewed it. No amount of power or rules could have given the Earth dimension the ability to suppress the Dark Dimension as easily as Rolark had.

So, after some quick calculations, Earth's consciousness decided to behave. For now, it wouldn't dare cause any trouble, especially since it had gained so much energy from the Dark Dimension's invasion and needed time to digest it.

Thus, Earth's consciousness faded back into obscurity. For the Avengers, it was as if the entity had never existed, though the healed wounds were a subtle reminder of

 its presence.

"So, how did they do it?" As the Avengers discussed the mystery of their sudden healing, Kara and Diana had snuck off to a private training room, replaying Robert and Clark's fusion dance in their minds.

"I saw the whole thing. It was a simple, strange dance, not complicated at all. Do you want to give it a try?" Kara asked, her eyes gleaming with excitement as she locked gazes with Diana.

"We could try it. If it works and we can amplify our power like they did, maybe we can help them more in the future," Diana mused, nodding thoughtfully.

"But… what if we can't separate?" Kara suddenly remembered a potential issue, her expression growing concerned.

"If we can't separate, it wouldn't be too bad for us. But if they couldn't split apart, that would be a much bigger problem," Diana agreed, furrowing her brow in concern.

After a moment of silent contemplation, the two shared a look.

"Let's try it first!" they both said, determined. Following the steps they had seen Robert and Clark perform, Kara and Diana began their attempt at fusion...
