Chapter 764 - Chapter 764: Disintegration and the Encounter After Prayers

With each successive punch and clash of power, the Dark Lord no longer felt the oppressive suppression he had previously experienced. This renewed his confidence, even though he knew Rolark still possessed light energy capable of countering his strength. The Dark Lord decided to use this moment to vent his frustration, knowing full well that if Rolark reactivated his light powers, he would have no choice but to flee. After all, staying to fight while being fully countered would surely mean death.

As the Dark Lord finally stopped running and chose to engage in combat, Rolark's smile widened, clearly excited. His eyes flickered with an ever-growing battle lust, and his excitement was palpable as the battle continued.

Gradually, an overwhelming aura of battle intent began to gather around Rolark. This intense fighting spirit wasn't just as powerful as Robert's original combat energy; it was far stronger, surpassing even the influence of a domain. It was a fundamental difference in power—Rolark's combined strength had elevated everything about him, from his physical capabilities to his will to fight.

Though Rolark hadn't showcased much of Clark's unique abilities beyond his light-based power, most of his incredible strength came from Clark. Yet, because Robert's combat expertise dominated his fighting style, Rolark fought in a manner that resembled Robert more than Clark.

"Buzz!" As Rolark's fighting spirit coalesced, the Dark Lord immediately felt its effects.

The Dark Lord had never before encountered such a terrifying presence. The sheer pressure and strength exuded by Rolark's battle aura were overwhelming. It wasn't just intimidating—it was fundamentally powerful.

As this energy enveloped the Dark Lord, he felt his own strength being suppressed. Though the suppression wasn't as severe as the effect of Rolark's light energy, it was enough to make a difference. Under the influence of this battle aura, the Dark Lord found that he could only draw upon 90% of his full power, creating an immediate gap between their abilities.

What truly shocked the Dark Lord was that Rolark, too, seemed affected by this battle aura—but in a positive way. Rolark's fighting strength had increased, as though his tenacity and drive had amplified his combat power by another 20%, and the Dark Lord could sense that Rolark's power continued to grow as the battle raged on.

This realization left the Dark Lord in awe. Rolark's fighting spirit felt as potent as the home-field advantage granted by a dimension's inherent rules.

Rolark's battle intent not only suppressed his opponent but also enhanced his own power—effects that were usually only seen when fighting within one's own dimension. To the Dark Lord, Rolark's fighting aura seemed even more fearsome than the power of a dimensional stronghold.

What the Dark Lord didn't realize, however, was that Rolark's rising power wasn't solely due to his fighting spirit. It was also the result of Robert's Great Ape's Fury, a transformation that significantly boosted his combat ability. Rolark, being a fusion of Clark and Robert, had inherited this form, although the transformation didn't alter his appearance.

The escalating power from Rolark's transformations rattled the Dark Lord, shattering his earlier resolve to vent his anger. He hadn't bargained for a one-sided beating.

As Rolark's battle intent surged, the fight quickly shifted from an even contest to a scenario where Rolark dominated the Dark Lord. The longer the battle dragged on, the more pressure the Dark Lord felt, and the hope of victory began to fade entirely.

Despite this, the Dark Lord dared not resort to using the rules of his dimension to turn the tide. If he did, and Rolark responded with light energy, the Dark Lord would be in an even worse situation. Thus, while he struggled to defend against Rolark's assault, he began calculating an escape plan.

Unaware of the Dark Lord's intentions, Rolark, influenced by Robert's combative nature, immersed himself in the fight. Apart from realizing that the Dark Lord wasn't as powerful as he had expected, Rolark didn't notice anything strange.

But as time passed and Rolark's fighting spirit continued to grow, his body suddenly froze, leaving him motionless in the air.

"An opening!" The Dark Lord, whose energy was now unstable from the relentless beating, had never imagined being pushed this far. When he noticed Rolark's sudden pause, he didn't dare investigate the cause—this was his perfect chance to escape!

"Whoosh!" The Dark Lord vanished from sight, becoming nothing more than a shadow darting through the dimensional rift, quickly fleeing the scene.

"Trying to escape?" Rolark snapped out of his daze the moment the Dark Lord vanished. He frowned in the direction the Dark Lord had disappeared, but instead of chasing after him, he raised his hand and gathered a massive Kamehameha wave imbued with light energy.

"Whoosh!" The blast shot from Rolark's palm, far faster than any attack he had unleashed before. It disappeared into the void, homing in on the fleeing Dark Lord.

Yet even as the Kamehameha wave tore through the dimensions, Rolark himself did not follow. Instead, after glancing once more in the Dark Lord's direction, he turned and flew back toward Earth's dimension.

Before he could reach Earth, however, Rolark's body stiffened again. A faint white light flickered around him, and his body shuddered before abruptly splitting back into Robert and Clark.

"What's going on?" Clark asked in confusion, looking down at his body. "Why did we separate so quickly?"

"It's called fusion, not just combining bodies!" Robert shot Clark an irritated look.

"What's the difference? It's still us merging into one person with a shared body," Clark muttered, still puzzled. "But seriously, why did we split apart so soon? We haven't even hit the half-hour mark yet."

"It's probably because we didn't fight properly during our previous fusion. We were just testing our powers," Robert speculated after a moment of thought. "This time, we fought a really powerful enemy and pushed ourselves to the limit. Plus, because of my Great Ape's Fury, our combat strength kept increasing, which burned through our energy a lot faster. Especially after that last big move…"

This wasn't unheard of in the world of Dragon Ball. Although fusion usually lasted half an hour, intense combat, especially if the warriors' power levels continued to rise, could drastically shorten the duration. The constant use of energy, combined with Clark's lack of mastery over ki, meant that Rolark had been primarily relying on Robert's energy reserves.

In simple terms, it was like a battery that was supposed to last thirty minutes, but with too many power-hungry abilities in play, it drained much faster.

"Too bad. We let that guy get away…" Clark sighed, glancing into the void where the Dark Lord had fled.

"Don't worry," Robert replied with a grin. "We made our mark and showed our strength. That Dark Lord won't dare mess with us again. We just need to keep an eye on the other dimensions now."

"Losing one dimension that's been eyeing us is definitely a win," Robert continued. "And I think we've scared the Earth's dimensional consciousness too. It wouldn't have been so cooperative in sending Kara and the others back otherwise."

"Besides, the dimensions aren't exactly safe places. I bet that Super Kamehameha I shot will cause the Dark Dimension a lot of trouble. If the Dark Lord got injured, he's not going to have an easy time in a place where it's survival of the fittest."

"Super Kamehameha? Do you have to give your attacks such ridiculous names?" Clark couldn't help but tease Robert. But then he looked back into the void and muttered, "Let's hope the Dark Lord finds a dimension that likes him and accepts him."

Dark Dimension: Is this what you call a prayer? Is this your idea of luck? You're basically cursing me! Please, be a decent person!

Clark: Yeah, totally.

Robert: Clark might seem a bit mean, but yeah, we're definitely hoping for that!

And perhaps due to Clark's Chosen One status, or maybe the Dark Lord's misfortune, events unfolded much like Clark had wished.

After narrowly escaping Rolark, the Dark Lord didn't stop fleeing. He knew he wouldn't be safe until he found a quiet, secluded place to hide and recover. Only then could he begin the long process of recreating the Dark Dimension.

Rolark's destruction of the Dark Dimension's inhabitants had actually helped the Dark Lord in a way, since he no longer needed to reclaim the energy of his fallen minions.

But something felt wrong. The Dark Lord had been fleeing for quite some time, and while Rolark hadn't pursued him, he still sensed a looming danger.

Slowing down to investigate, the Dark Lord's sense of crisis only intensified.

"What the…?!" The Dark Lord exclaimed as he finally discovered the source of his unease. It was the Super Kamehameha, still on his tail and brimming with light energy and an overwhelming sense of doom.

"Shit!" The Dark Lord cursed. He realized there was no escape. In fact, this attack seemed even more dangerous than Rolark himself. If he didn't use every last resource he had, he would either be destroyed or gravely injured.

"Buzz!"—With no other choice, the Dark Lord unleashed his full power. A massive full moon appeared behind him, quickly transforming into the vast shadow of the Dark Dimension.

"Boom!"

Just as the Dark Dimension reformed, the Kamehameha struck, its speed suddenly accelerating, leaving the Dark Lord with no time to mount further defenses.

"Boom!"

The explosion

echoed across the dimension, shaking every inch of the Dark Dimension to its core. As the space within the Dark Dimension fractured, light energy surged in, burning everything in its path.

In that moment, the Dark Dimension no longer resembled its former self. If someone had said it was Hell burning under a cosmic explosion, they would have believed it.

No one knew how long the destruction lasted, but eventually, the explosions and flames faded. The Dark Dimension had been severely damaged, its size drastically reduced. But with time, it could recover.

"Ha! What doesn't kill me only makes me stronger! Once I rebuild the dimension, I'll come back for my revenge! Huh?!" The Dark Lord's crazed laughter filled the remains of his realm, but it quickly turned to shock.

"Roooar!"—A guttural howl echoed through the void as a larger, pitch-black dimension appeared, opening its gaping maw. In one swift motion, it devoured the Dark Dimension as though it were nothing more than a small snack.
