After the operation, Erza started training the very next day. Her body had completely healed itself and had easily exhibited the abilities it gained from releasing the dragon power deep within it.
She now looked exactly like Natsu did in the movie Dragon Cry. But instead of having half of her body dragonised, her entire body had transformed into that of a humanoid dragon. Basically, she became a dragonoid, a half-human, half-dragon creature like those in fantasy isekai.
She was seven feet tall with scarlet scales that glowed like rubies. Her main powers seemed to be focused on toughness and vitality. Even though her powers were not focused on elements, the other dragons mentioned that it was not that much of a weakness.
Having no element does not mean the dragon was weaker. Element-less dragons who were considered strong were actually monsters in battle. Their magic did not focus on any particular element, so their overall build was completely balanced, and they did not have any specific weakness.
Basically, there are dragons like blade dragons, fire dragons, armour dragons, etc. All of them have stat points that are arranged in respect to what kind of dragon they are—some have more in defense, some in offense, some in special attack, etc. Plus some dragons have additional elemental weakness like water for fire dragons and earth for lightning dragons. But for element-less dragons, their stats are almost equal in all aspects.
So even though they don't have a particular stat that is higher than other dragons, they also lack the weakness that most dragons have for a particular stat or ability.
It was absolutely perfect for Erza, who fights with martial arts skills. And thankfully, her armours were enchanted to adjust to the wearer, so they easily adjusted to the newly created wings and tail that she was planning to use in her attacks.
She can transform back into her humanoid appearance at any time, and no stamina or extra magic is used while maintaining her transformation. Plus, through calculation, they figured out that her overall stats increase by twenty times while in her dragon form.
Seeing the advantages of this new dragon slayer, the other dragons decided that it was better for their own dragon slayers to follow the same path. Plus, it did not take that much work to accomplish—it only required a few changes in the enchantments they had already used to create antibodies. Dragon Force has the ability to increase a dragon slayer's stats by ten times. Clearly, the sixth-generation draconic transformation was far superior to the already existing dragon transformation, if you leave out a few unique mutations.
Though Weisslogia and Skiadrum will not learn about this transformation because contacting them while in the timestream was impossible. So the White and Shadow Dragons will be held back a lot.
Well, they already were by this entire year of training, so there was no problem with that. The other dragons just laughed at the realization, while Grandine just sighed at the immaturity of the male dragons.
But the next day, they all returned to their respective dragon slayers so as to implement the changes in the runes, so they could inherit the sixth-generation dragon slayer characteristics.
The dragon slayers were a bit sad but knowing that they were inside them was reassuring that they wouldn't disappear like before.
The training continued.
Lucy had a great affinity for spatial and celestial magic. So Karna instilled a lot of spells he had collected throughout the years, plus the Flying Raijin technique. She easily gained a grasp of the spell and was successful in casting it. Her speed might not be as fast as Karna's when using it, but she will never lose her key pouch and will have a method to escape dangerous situations with her allies.
Plus, she was also looking into combining Star Dresses.
Wendy's training was actually the most fruitful among all the guild members. Karna knew she had the most potential among every single person present. She also had a great affinity for breathing techniques and can now recover stamina and magical power from the air constantly while in battle, rather than by standing still like in the canon Grand Magic Games.
Plus, she was like a black hole of information. Irene was right to call Wendy a genius in enchantments in canon. The moment Karna started teaching her, her learning speed surpassed anything that Freed and Levy had displayed. Within a few days, she started creating her own forms of enchantments that impressed everyone who knew enchanting.
Cana was improving a lot as she was using her card magic and crush magic at the same time. Karna finally managed to crack the method to create cards that can store magical attacks. So every person who was training was using the cards to store attacks for Cana. In a way, it increased their accuracy, as for the attack to be stored in the card, they had to concentrate magical energy into a small point, basically increasing their proficiency in each spell they used. So all of them were eager to get their hands on a few cards to store attacks.
But soon, the production of cards did not match the rate at which they were being used, so they had to limit the spells stored in the cards to their ultimate attacks.
Basically, Cana already had hundreds of attacks equivalent to those of the strongest S-Class wizards stored in cards. She was going to become a living artillery unit in the final war.
Plus, she was also training to unlock her rune just like her father did using crush magic. But instead of Rune Crush, she was training to unlock Twist, to increase the power of her special form of crush magic.
Ultear was trying to increase her proficiency in dragon slayer magic while practicing ice molding magic she had learned from Ur years ago. Plus, her breathing technique, combining both ice and time characteristics, was creating a formidable power. The Chrono Ice Dragon Slayer was turning into a monstrous existence.
A/N – Hope you like it.
