Chapter 1 - Renaissance

Sprawled in the middle of the street after being hit, lay a 17-year-old boy, remembering every moment of his life, some good and some bad.

"So, everything ends here, he hoped for something much better," thought the boy.

Unfortunately, those were his last thoughts. Perhaps it was fate, or simply bad luck, that had led him to such a premature end.

After that, all he saw was a light... A small form of energy that began to take shape and slowly adapt to the void, as if it were absorbing it and feeding off the very essence of the void itself.

Little by little, he began to form his consciousness, or perhaps rebuild himself. There was no body, no brain, and yet, slowly, he awakened, as if he had been asleep for centuries.

"Where am I?" he asked fearfully, unable to see the immense void surrounding him.

An avalanche of memories overwhelmed him. Memories of a past life that he would never experience again.

At the same time, he felt something slowly becoming part of him. It was a strange sensation, as if he were constantly absorbing something. He didn't know what it was, but he could feel that energy mixing with his own existence and becoming a part of him.

"What happened to my body, if I even still have one?" the boy thought, wishing he could see something, anything at all, just to confirm whether he still had a body.

Perhaps it was the boy's desire, or perhaps something else, but a body—if it could even be called that—began to take shape.

That form of energy slowly began to mold itself, forming every part of a human body. First came the limbs, then the torso, and finally the head. Each part was taking shape from that strange energy, as if it were rebuilding a body that had once existed.

And then something happened that he hadn't expected.

The darkness that had surrounded him for so long began to disappear.

For the first time since he had awakened, he could see again.

"It's so dark... Everything is so empty. I'm getting goosebumps... although, wait, I don't even have skin. That's strange... What exactly am I? A form of light? Energy? I don't understand anything. But I can see... I can think... I can even feel. How is that possible? This is so weird..."

For a few seconds, he remained motionless, trying to understand what was happening.

There was nothing around him.

No stars, no planets, not even a tiny source of light.

Only the void.

But then he felt that strange sensation again.

Something was entering him.

The energy that had accompanied him since he awakened began to flow with greater intensity. His body started to glow faintly as that strange energy coursed through every part of him.

"Again...?" he murmured.

He tried to move away, but he couldn't. It was as if something were holding him from every direction.

Suddenly, the void began to change.

For the first time, he saw something different.

A small crack appeared in front of him.

It didn't look like an ordinary crack. It wasn't tearing through space; it was as if the void itself were being ripped open from within.

The boy stared at the opening in disbelief.

"What the hell is that...?"

The crack slowly began to expand. On the other side, he could see a light unlike anything he had ever seen before.

It was different from any light he had known in his former life.

It was warm.

It was enormous.

And somehow, he could feel that there was something on the other side.

Something alive.

Something completely unknown.

The boy's body began moving toward the crack without his control.

"Wait! I'm not doing this!"

He tried to resist, but it was useless.

The energy he had been absorbing all this time seemed to be reacting with the opening. The closer he got, the stronger the crack became.

Until, finally...

He passed through it.

For a moment, he stopped feeling everything.

There was no darkness.

There was no light.

There were no thoughts.

Only silence.

And then...

An explosion of light.

The boy opened his eyes.

Before him stretched something he had never seen before.

A completely unfamiliar sky, filled with stars of different colors. In the distance were enormous celestial bodies that seemed to surpass the size of any planet he had ever known.

"Where... am I?"

He looked at his hands.

His body was still there.

But something had changed.

He could feel an energy coursing through him from within, an energy that did not belong to his former world.

He had arrived somewhere completely new.

A universe he did not know.

And without knowing it yet, his arrival had caused a small disturbance in the balance of that universe.

Something had been born.

And that something was him.

But there was something he still didn't know.

The void he had escaped from was not simply the absence of everything.

It was a place.

A space between universes, where the remnants of worlds that had once existed remained scattered like echoes.

And all that time, without realizing it, he had been absorbing those remnants.

Energy.

Matter.

Fragments of things that had once existed.

Everything had merged within him.

And now, for the first time, that energy had entered a new universe.

A universe that did not yet know it had just received something that did not belong to it.
