Amun looked down at the golden flames surrounding his hand.
"The same origin?" he repeated. "But our powers are different. I can heal people and restore things, while you can burn and destroy."
Ra's expression remained unchanged. "Does that mean they cannot come from the same place?"
Amun considered his words before shaking his head. "I suppose not."
Ra placed his hands behind his back and spoke. "I have a richer knowledge of the world than you....I know that palace is nothing but extraordinary."
"...That might be true." Amun replied softly. "But still, it has nothing to do with me."
Ra kept on looking at him for a long while. He walked closer until he stood close to him.
"Don't you want to know what exactly you are?" He asked, trying to keep his arrogance in check. "To understand why you were born in the first place."
Amun glanced at his hand, where the golden flames continued moving across his fingers. "I never really thought about it that much."
